I played this long ago with children in schools to develop familiarity with feelings conversations. Yes; it's probably bad to pair a nice time with sugar when I work in the NHS, but also...yes, it has so many pluses! Potential benefits in the comments (please add yours too)...

@paulwaugh Yes, even I although I have a computer /mobile would prefer to use paper & pen or communicate face to face for some things.

Some 3 million people over 65 don't have internet access, many don't have smartphones and many rely on cash. Yet slowly, surely, they're being squeezed out of daily activities by a negligent drive by companies and public services to cuts costs.

Funny you ask! He has tubes in his ears to widen the canals/allow for drainage, etc. One of shifted and is causing discomfort. We’re actually at the doc’s office right now to get it removed. Has happened before, so hoping it doesn’t become a trend… #IronWill #DownSyndrome

@DoctorMayJay Absolutely, sacrifice of having children was that for me I couldn't return to work until they were much older. We must not expect those with no children to take the burden of the summer /school holidays.

Barriers created in healthcare services cause “lack of engagement” not patients. Maybe rather than “how do we reach them” it’s “how do we redesign so they can reach us?”

Patient to OT: “I love that you’re here. I had no idea I even needed someone like you until you showed up” - I’ll add that sometimes the best thing you can do for your patient is to just ‘show up’. ❤️ #OccupationalTherapy #occupationaltherapist
