A must read for all of us privileged enough to live in peaceful, democratic, affluent societies. Refugees / immigration have become hugely political, averting from the humans affected. Even sadder today when 2 more people died trying to cross the channel to the UK. A must read.

Every so often you read a book that shakes you to your core and stays with you longer after finishing it. I rarely read fiction but was recommended #lemontrees by a good friend. It took me 3 days to finish over the holidays and wow. Painful, heart-wrenching, powerful. 👇🏼

Another day, another shocking photo of extreme weather in Greece. More people being evacuated and missing. After a summer of wildfires this is just devastating.
Climate change is v much upon us. The need to adapt and reallocate resources to deal with these crises is v real.
