@InternetH0F I can do that easy! All I gotta do is take off my glasses XD ( but seriously I thought everyone could do that???)

@brokebackstan Raised Roman Catholic, and this is absolutely atrocious. Completely the antithesis of everything the Bible preaches.
English

gonna need someone raised christian to explain to me how calling this “church” isn’t considered sacrilegious

@JulianPowerVO @AIDRIVR It almost sounds like you're advertising for Burger King LOL!
English

@AIDRIVR Shitty crumple zones so your body gets minced to burger meat in a 60mph collision, then the inevitable battery fire flame grills your corpse. All in a truck with no load space that looks like a prop from an ‘80s straight-to-video sci-fi B-movie.
English

@AIDRIVR The car will be in great shape to resell once they hose out the viscera that was once its occupants.
Will really help cover the funeral costs

@mpukita @ReclutadoraVic @GeorgeTakei Look assclown, if you can't get pregnant, then sit your ass down and shut up because you have no horse in the race. And for the record, a fetal heartbeat is not a heartbeat because at that point it doesn't actually have a heart to beat.
English

@ReclutadoraVic @GeorgeTakei As much as "the people" respected our legislation called the Heartbeat Bill. I'll respect what happened Tuesday just as much. 😉

Right after Issue 1 passed, Ohio Republicans in the Assembly came right out and said they would try to block its effect. That is anti-democratic in the extreme. Here is the letter that over two dozen of them signed, saying they would “do everything in our power” to “prevent our laws from being removed” based on “perception of intent.”

You can’t go to a BOWLING ALLEY, to a restaurant, to work, to the mall, to a grocery store, to your church, to the movies or the bank.
You can’t attend a concert, go to a dance class or go to see your doctor. You can’t ring a doorbell, use a leaf blower, hop in a car, pull down a driveway, bounce a ball, or ask the neighbor to keep it down.
You can’t check out a farmer’s market or pick up a package at the post office or go to a Fourth of July parade, and you certainly can’t send your kids to school without worrying that someone will get shot.
That someone you LOVE will get shot.
Or that YOU will get shot.
This is where we are now.
This is not normal.
This upside down reality is being imposed upon us by those who equate firearms with freedom.
This is anything BUT freedom.
And. This. Is. Not. A. Reality. We. Have. To. Accept.

@Ellies2ndaccnt @Dickkicker14 @monticello2705 @WilliamLaurent3 @EdKrassen Maybe you just need a new doctor because if they're that quick to jump to medication, then they're an idiot.
English

@Dickkicker14 @monticello2705 @WilliamLaurent3 @EdKrassen Sorry but who decides what is healthy?
What is the rubric?
I was given bad news at the doctors office once and the doc immediately started to write a script for an antidepressant because I cried. I wasn't depressed I reacted. I'm allowed to react. Would that limit my rights?

I’m sick and tired!
Robert Card, the shooter in Maine, reportedly reported mental health issues, including “hearing voices."
He also reportedly threatened to shoot up the National Guard base.
Stop it with the 2nd Amendment argument. It doesn’t prohibit us from talking steps to stop this.
Why can’t we just have universal background checks?
Why can’t we require background checks on all sales of guns including all sold at gun shows?
Why can’t we regulate AR-15s and similar guns like we do machine guns and sawed-off shotguns?
Why can’t we fix our mental health issues in this country?
Why?

English

@DrRandomFella @WilliamLaurent3 @EdKrassen In the state of Pennsylvania you have to pass a basic nics check to purchase a long gun. If you have unpaid child support, I could still sell you a gun, but I can't sell you a hunting or fishing license. Tell me how that makes any fucking sense.
English

@WilliamLaurent3 @EdKrassen You have to pass a backround check to legally buy a gun already.
English

@shakyradunn Well, this makes me feel better that I prefer the Japanese version to the English.

@McNicollb @k_sarah_sera @piper4missouri Since you clearly don't know how to use Google, a mandated reporter is someone who is required to report abuse or suspected abuse. A teacher is a mandated reporter.
English

@k_sarah_sera @piper4missouri What’s a “mandated reporter?”
Reston, VA 🇺🇸 English

@SWGaspar @piper4missouri 77th percentile when the state is ranked number 48 in the nation for education is pretty shitty, bro. Also every homeschool student I've ever encountered has virtually zero social skills, cannot work as a team, and is incapable of approaching a problem from multiple angles.
English

Yet homeschooled students score about 72 points higher than the national average on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The average American College Test (ACT) score is 21. The average score for homeschoolers is 22.8 out of a possible 36 points. Homeschoolers are at the 77th percentile on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills.
Somehow these parents lacking "expertise" seem to be providing their kids with a better education.

@skywalkr274 @OneTonWontons @BlueIsMyC0l0r @MarkHamill If your argument shows bias to any one side or is intended to bring down one while lifting the other, you are not paying attention to all sides. Dude this is literally the equivalent of reading reviews: throw out the damning and the most glowing and the truth lies in the middle.
English

@skywalkr274 @OneTonWontons @BlueIsMyC0l0r @MarkHamill Person here who actually pays attention to all sides. If someone has done something that is an impeachable offense, they deserve to be impeached. If someone has done something worthy of 91 indictments they deserve to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Party be damned
English

@patriottakes Taylor not only sold out the stadium in Pittsburgh, but you literally could not get a hotel because they had all of them sold out too! They were warning for Taylor Swift concert traffic on the big light up boards that tell you how far to the tunnels!
English

@TerrySt13138410 @lillijo13 @CalltoActivism @MayoIsSpicyy I don't care if you're a Democrat or Republican, if you don't do the job, then you don't get paid. If you won't do the job, then you need removed. Why should they get rewarded for doing nothing?
English

@lillijo13 @CalltoActivism @MayoIsSpicyy So I guess you way over spend your personal budget each month and decide to just keep doing it. This is insane.
English

🚨🚨🚨BREAKING: A bipartisan bill was introduced that would block members of Congress from getting paid if the U.S. enters debt default or if the government shuts down.
The No Pay for Congress During Default or Shutdown Act, introduced by Reps. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), would withhold lawmakers' pay for the duration of a debt limit breach or lapse in federal funding, an attempt to motivate legislators to prevent either situation.
The bill comes amid growing fears that Republicans will not agree to meet the June 1 deadline set by the Treasury Department to raise the debt limit and risk a catastrophic default on U.S. obligations.
“Lawmakers should not be rewarded with our salaries until we do our jobs," Spanberger said.
What are your thoughts? Should it pass?

English

@CalltoActivism That needs to pass. You don't work, you don't get paid!
