The order is incredible. You have to read it. It’s not even three full pages and you feel the judicial fury. He says court orders are repeatedly being ignored and people who have done nothing wrong are remaining in detention despite judicial orders requiring them to be released.

They tried to cover it up immediately and the Minneapolis police chief refused. Witnesses have been taken to police headquarters and all available off duty police have been called to work. I’m struck by how they dragged an innocent guy out into the cold at gunpoint in his underwear, drove him around for an hour before they realized they made a mistake, and then didn’t have the basic human decency to APOLOGIZE. Not even an “I’m sorry, sir.” Nothing.

Yesterday, Reuters captured ICE breaking down a door and dragging a man out half-naked into the freezing cold in Saint Paul. According to his sister-in-law, they returned him after realizing he’s a naturalized U.S. citizen with no criminal record.
