It's a stupid system that takes days to count, rewards parochialism, not even an Irish system (the British came up with it), and the worst form of PR. As late as twenty years ago, Ireland was effectively a two-party system.

I didn't vore for Catherine Connolly and I'm ashamed that she gets to represent Ireland on the global stage. The woman and her sister are a disgrace.
