@GBNEWS @ClareCraigPath Crazy to think that boosters were invited on a whim. The trials only covered 2 doses

@GBNEWS Such, irony - the woman claimed without any evidence or challenge that it being warm last week and cold this week is climate change. Does she have data to back up that claim? Otherwise it is more misinformation

Piers Morgan completely destroys the right wing myth that the UK has been taken over by radical Muslims and Sharia law. He calls out Tommy Robinson for selling blatant lies to gullible Americans and defends the peaceful Muslim population. Absolute masterclass.

The Earth's climate is in a "state of emergency", according to the United Nations which has warned it is more out of balance than at any other time in observed history. 🔗 Read more trib.al/P5pjjjn

@rexdelay @MaziEzike_Nedu @SkyNews The data was the number of events. Really weird how climate extremists, rather than being relieved, are angry when you show them data that show climate change is not as bad as the media claim

@rexdelay @MaziEzike_Nedu @SkyNews Doesn't shout climate emergency lol. If your main concern is the planet being a mere 1 degree warmer by the end of the century then you have not enough to worry about!

@SkyNews A 'state of emergency' from the UN isn't just another headline it’s a final warning. We are living through the most unbalanced climate in history. Time to act was yesterday

As a British Muslim, I refuse to accept biased narratives that conflate the actions of a few with millions of law-abiding British Muslims. We contribute to every part of our society. Media outlets and politicians that fuel division for their own gain will be challenged!

What a disgrace - they didn’t buy this fuel at today’s crude price.

This is @Tesco Ollerton. At the beginning of the week diesel was 150p, hiked up from the previous week. At lunchtime today it was 154p. This afternoon 156.9p. Its just one of many. So all power to @RachelReevesMP to stop this blatant profiteering.

The extent of Iran’s disarmament can be objectively measured by the facts that there is no US warship within 700 kilometres of Iran. And that Israel is being battered to smithereens every night. But hey, sure. If you want to pretend Iran’s weapons are destroyed and leave, go right ahead

Four years ago cricket legends Shane Warne and Rodney Marsh both died in the same week after receiving covid boosters. Officially the deaths were just natural causes, and any links to vaccination times were coincidental. Coincidentally it's been a long while since I've heard a politician say the covid jabs were 'safe and effective'

I hadn't even noticed that Rodney Marsh had died. Let alone under such similar circumstances. For many they might see how this is a coincidence too far. Just hope Dennis Lillee sees sense and doesn't get a booster.

@viewsfromleft @MichelleDewbs That is as crazy as saying that 40% tax payers receive 60% of their earnings back from the government

I’ve seen this view expressed a lot. So I have a genuine question; If “no representation without taxation” is your mantra.. ….What happens re all the British citizens in this country who pay precisely zero in tax, but instead live off state benefits? 🤔
Kevin Maguire@Kevin_Maguire

No representation without taxation! British tax exile migrants in the Middle East aren’t so smug now. Time for the UK to adopt a US-style link of taxation to nationality - not residency. Want a British passport and everything it gives? Pay fair instead of freeloading.

@viewsfromleft @MichelleDewbs They pay VAT out of the money they have been given by the state. That doesn't make them tax payers

@FTBLsection Why do they limit substitution windows to save time and then substitute players one by one if 3 are made together. Why cant they all come on and off at the same time?

Former English referee Mark Clattenburg has proposed a change to eliminate player time wasting: "Football is an entertainment sport, so we need as much playing time as possible. The first time I refereed in the Champions League, only 40 minutes of the 90 were actually played. The two things I want to happen are that the referee has the power, instead of showing a yellow card to a player wasting time, to reverse the decision. If the player is instructed to take a throw-in and delays it, the throw should immediately go to the opposing team from that spot. Often, players go to the sideline, bounce the ball, move it forward a long distance, wait for the referee to tell them to return to the original position, wait a little longer, are booked, and the referee writes down the sanction. Then, after about 10 more seconds, they take the throw-in. The player wins. They steal a minute doing that. Instead, if we had the option to reverse the sanction, without booking them, this wouldn’t happen. The other idea is the same but for goal kicks and corner kicks. If the attacker delays on purpose, the sanction is reversed, and they lose the corner, which becomes a goal kick. If the goalkeeper does the same, they go from having defensive control to conceding a corner."

To lose 2 churches to fire in just 2 days seems odd! Especially as they have survived at least 100 years unscathed. Interestingly there are no official figures for churches burning down in the U.K. er … of course there aren’t!
