For every £1 boomers pay in tax, they will receive £1.20 in benefits. The state pension should be scrapped. No ifs, no buts, scrapped.

@piersmorgan A mission that involved losing 2 of their assets to rescue a man. So much for being the superpower. Nigeria would’ve done a better job than these clowns.

The more I read about the US mission to rescue their 2nd downed airman in Iran, the more astounding it is. Kudos to the CIA, SEAL Team 6, and all the others involved in finding their man & getting him out. And to him, for incredible guts & tenacity. nypost.com/2026/04/05/wor…

This is disgusting. Waitrose has *sacked* a 54-year-old worker after 17 years of loyal service for stopping a shoplifter. This is exactly why good people don’t intervene anymore. Waitrose should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

I'm tired of talking about this, but there are still people out there who believe this Artemis II crap, so we need to keep driving the point home: There is no "space travel". NASA is a computer-generation and filming studio that occasionally does public spectacles like this to keep the American public on the hook for $70M/day in tax extortion. Every rocket launch in history has a big curved arc path, because the rocket goes up pretty high, levels out, then comes back down in the Bermuda Triangle (which is why they spook us all from going there in the media - it's a giant graveyard of all the rockets they've splooshed into the ocean) The whole "We need to go horizontal to get to 17,000 MPH and get into orbit" is completely ridiculous and a perfect example of how they lie to your face, but millions still believe it because they've been implanted with this story that NASA are super amazing & trustworthy, and doing all of these incredible things. Just WATCH THE VIDEO. That rocket is going nowhere near 17,000 MPH, and it's not speeding up. It's going off into the distance where nobody can see it anymore, then they switch to cartoon mode where they show everyone computer animations with a little HUD at the bottom of the screen like a video game, and post pre-recorded videos for the next several days pretending they are in space. It's a phony fake show. If you are an adult, you need to stop believing these fantastical stories your government is feeding you as the reason why they need to tax you to death from every direction, and start thinking for yourself. We live in a world of deception, and it isn't going to get any easier to spot these scams when you see them. It's time to wake up, and learn to trust your own eyes and senses again. Detaching you from your intuition is one of the primary purposes of deception agencies like NASA.

Floridians have seen this show so many times, they know the drill. All NASA launches are unmanned bottle rockets getting yeeted into the Bermuda Triangle. Switch to full CGI a couple minutes in, play cartoons portraying "space travel" for the next several days on youtube, and voila, all the gullible goyim clap for their computer screens, and nobody riots over the $70 million in taxes being extorted out of us every single day.

Yes, we should all go back in time, earn more than we actually did, and pay more than we had left from it into a long-term plan that likely didn't even exist back then, for a future we couldn't begin to imagine at that age.
Rose Edmunds@RoseEdmunds

@Battsby £50 a month invested in a FTSE tracker for the past 40 years with dividends reinvested would be worth best part of £200k now, generating a pension of £8k based on a “safe” withdrawal rate of 4%. Just saying…

@tutt_brian @DailyMail Wrong, he moved the manufacturing out of this country because he could build them cheaper elsewhere. R&D is still based in Malmesbury employing 3500 people. He still invests in this country,

@markey1960 @simonwatt85 Just out of interest. Your profile says retired but you may not be old enough to be a pensioner. When I was teaching, being retired & on a pension never entered my head, & my private pension from teaching was a “burden” but I’m so glad I took it out even though I pay tax still

The National Living Wage is right now, £12.21 per hour. In a 35 hour week you will earn £427.35 so in a year it’s £22,222 Presumably they call it a living wage because that gives you enough to live on. A pensioner gets £10,000 less than that. Greedy blighters.

@anniejones2703 @simonwatt85 You conveniently ignore that pensioners generally no longer have a mortgage to pay, don’t generally have car loans, and their kids have moved out so they’re not paying for them.

@rec777777 @Rob42wobbie @Nigel_Farage This isn’t about the EU, it’s about the UK taxpayers paying for a state pension that’s unaffordable under the triple lock. Yes, increase it in line with inflation but not in line with wages or 2.5%. The UK will go bust!
