When you get an organic comment on an ad you’re running like this you know this campaign is going to rip for a long long time

Speed to lead matters. But speed from lead to booking is just as important and often misunderstood. For my upcoming move, I booked a container with @PODS. The call took ~50 minutes. It was a real sales process: – they educated me – they upsold – when I hesitated on price, she immediately offered a discount At the same time, I had enough space during the call to quickly check with ChatGPT whether the offer made sense based on moving distance. I wasn’t fully engaged the whole time. Honestly, I was bored. The process felt long. There were a lot of questions. But I needed the service, and they wanted to make it as smooth as possible, so I stayed and completed it. A few days later, we had a meeting with our appliance repair technicians to review: – job assignments and logistics – job description issues – job completion reporting They highlighted something important: CSRs are missing some right questions upfront, which creates friction later during the job. Before this, I thought lead-to-booking should be as fast as possible – cut corners, book the job, figure it out later. Now, based on experience with Pods I see it differently. If the customer truly needs the service, they will stay. They will answer questions. The real opportunity is to use that time to: – build trust – educate the customer – collect the right details So the job is smoother, faster, and more efficient on the back end. The goal is not fast booking. The goal is complete booking. Fast booking is good. High-quality booking is better.

In two months, we’re moving to Columbus, Ohio. We just bought our first house there. Texas heat and year-round allergies pushed us to move north. After a long process of filtering options and traveling across different states, we decided to choose Ohio. I see a lot of business opportunities there in general, and strong potential to expand my appliance repair business specifically. We plan to launch appliance repair services in 3 metro areas this year. As a bonus, it’s new construction, so I’ll get exposure to many different home service industries from the customer side, and I’m excited about that. It’s my 4th year in the U.S., and my 3rd year running a business that made this possible. A country of opportunities, for sure.

If you can build a sales system designed for a cold traffic audience You can use it for your warm traffic leads But the inverse is not true

This one simple trick will MAKE or BREAK your TikTok shop videos. Use it right and your conversions can literally 10x. Ignore it… and you’ll get zero sales. I call this “Manufactured Propaganda” (coined term by me.) Most people think people scrolling on TikTok will check reviews. They don’t. They check your comments. If your comments are full of: “this actually works” “tastes insane” “I didn’t expect this to be this good” You win. If your comments are: “scam” “doesn’t work” “waste of money” You lose. Instantly. People use your comment section as the REAL review page. That’s why you need to control the narrative early. Seed 3–5 natural comments from different accounts as soon as you post. For FTC sake, these are REAL TESTIMONIALS 😃 As the video goes viral, those become the top comments. And they shape perception. TikTok Shop in 2026 is simple: Content gets attention. Comments close the sale. If you’re not doing this, you’re getting left behind.

such a missed opp if you're a home service biz to run ads on meta and NOT building brand by running generic creatives or paying for a pay per appt model from some lead aggregator the best LONG TERM way to drop CPL and CPBA is to build brand

I am a full blown tard who still runs my business like an idiot in a lot of ways. But man, the best thing that ever happened to me was working for the worst possible sales manager ever in 2017-2019. Creating an environment that attracts killers and non-time clock punchers >>>
