The shop is in one of the most deprived areas of the town, where many struggle to put food on the table His prices mean people eat a meal at a price they can afford The price of fish has risen dramatically over the last few weeks going from around £1.50 per kilo to £3.70 Mathews chippy prides itself on serving the community they supply me for FREE all my meals I provide to the homeless in my town they are a credit to the community and a jewel in our crown they put the great into Grimsby but they're too struggling with the costs of everything rising Tonight saw me served the last ever £3 fish supper before prices rise on Tuesday to £3.50, please show me a meal that can match this in the UK for £3.50 right on your doorstep in the heart of your community

Absolutely right the BBC need to answer and the question is why now and who did it !

It’s an absolute disgrace that the BBC have acted in this way and in reality who was the whistle blower they need to be disclosed and the reason why it was allowed. We are living in very dangerous times

So proud today. Son moved to Luton in January to be Cabin Crew for an airline. He isn’t academic and he’s dyslexic too he’s had some struggles with the studying and previous tests but he’s passed all his exams today so he’s been taken on full time. 😁😁😁😁😁😁

The current state of the Royal Navy: 2 aircraft carriers — neither operational. 6 Type 45 destroyers (our most powerful warships) — one operational (in Cyprus). 7 Type 23 frigates (less powerful, much older) — three operational 5 Astute class nuke-powered subs — one operational (in Arabian Sea?). Surely those responsible for this appalling state of unreadiness (a national embarrassment if ever there was one)— political, civilian and military — should be fired/charged. Their incompetence has effectively left us without a navy. Quite an achievement for an ancient island nation.

A seriously ill loved one currently needs carers to help him stay out of hospital and in his own home. They are all wonderful. They tell me they are paid just £12.50/hour. I have asked the private company that supplies their services what they charge the #NHS. It's £29.50/hour. This is blatant profiteering by them and piss poor management of resourses by the #NHS

If you want your information for free, ask for a print out of the info you need. There is a charge because you are asking for a letter, which is an interpretation of the data. This interpretatoin isn't classed as NHS work in our contract with the government - it's private.
