@RockChalkBlog Say you know nothing about basketball without saying. He can’t jump, he’s not athletic, he can’t rebound or play defense. Staples of Bill’s big men For 20+ years. He can score and sometimes pass. That doesn’t make you a top 5 player.

I legitimately can't believe there are people that claim to be Kansas fans that don't want Hunter Dickinson playing for their team. All of the idiotic narratives about him being soft, not caring, not being able to rebound. 18 & 10 per night. He's a top-5 player in the country.

Your culture doesn't exist when the coach is present. You find your culture anywhere players are present. The culture of a team is how the players act when the coach isn't around.

@_DJMiller @NCAA That why we are seeing older coaches hang it up? New era? It’s a different game. Just regulate the dang portal or the whole thing is basically the g league.

@marknisly @NCAA Yeah, combine that with the players skill set themselves and it’s a disaster. Bill is going to have to do some major adjusting if he is going to thrive in this era. Hard to make any kind of investment in a young player to try and develop him over several years.

@marknisly @NCAA I think if you look solely at the “players” Bill has got, he’s done well. But the fit/play style has been absolutely horrendous.

@chiefscrazy I would love to see this team with Flory at 5 and Dickinson in Europe. He isn’t a Bill type of player and Bill can’t win as easy with his guys. True of many transfers over the years but Hunter is maybe the most disappointing. I love the other 2, but they’ve struggled for sure

@marknisly The offensive ineptitude between KJ, Harris, and Hunter at times is appalling. I told someone the other day that I can’t wait for the senior class to leave because it will force Bill into allowing other people to play that will actually have an impact. Budinga looked 10x better

Can Hunter Dickinson just leave already? I don’t know if I have ever liked a KU player less. His lack of effort and toughness loses us games constantly.

@tonynisly They turned it over on the last one cuz Hunter didn’t run the play. Stood there and watched the dude tip it then proceeded to continue guarding no one. Then he misses a critical boxout. Guards could have played better but that’s not why we lost. Free throws also win the game.

@marknisly I don’t really disagree but our guards inability to inbound and take care of the ball was the reason we lost that one in my opinion.
