Iranian oil revenues are surging: Estimated Iranian oil revenues are up +$25 million per day in March from the prior month, to $139 million per day. This comes as Iranian tankers are still transiting the Strait of Hormuz while most other Persian Gulf oil supply is still restricted. As a result, Iranian oil exports are exceeding the pre-war average of 2.2 million barrels per day. Furthermore, Iranian Light crude prices are trading just -$2.10 below Brent, compared to a -$10 discount before the war. Iran is also generating additional revenue by charging transit fees of up to $2 million per vessel for commercial ships crossing Hormuz. All while the US government is trying to limit the impact of the war on oil prices by temporarily lifting sanctions on a large amount of Iranian oil already on tankers at sea. Iranian oil sales are soaring.

@KobeissiLetter How have you guys done in 26? Your returns for other years have been awesome- just curious where you are for 26 with a quarter almost done. Also, could your trump taco playbook be wrong this time? What humility do you build into your service, if any?

BREAKING: Japan's 10Y Government Bond Yield has surged to 2.30%, near the highest since 1999. This exceeds the 2008 Financial Crisis peak by 30 basis points. Furthermore, the 5Y yield jumped to 1.72%, just a few basis points away from its all-time high. This comes as rising oil prices and the escalation in the Middle East are fueling inflation fears among investors. The sell-off also follows 3 consecutive weeks of losses in US Treasuries. Meanwhile, the USDJPY currency pair is approaching the 160 level that triggered multiple Japanese Ministry of Finance interventions in 2024. As a result, Japanese authorities warned on Monday they are "fully prepared to take action" on currency moves. Asia is facing an energy crisis.

@PHDChicago There are definitely farmers who order in the fall, there are definitely farmers who order in the spring, there are definitely farmers who order when needed. I am a farmer, and I personally don’t know a soul who purchases just one season in advance.

@shanaka86 No. Because: (a) Farmers plan and order fertilizer two seasons in advance of planting, especially for large-scale crop production. (b) September/October is when farmers ordered for this spring. (c) Fertilizer is already on hand for this year's spring planting.

@KobeissiLetter I think most of the data you give is pretty spot on— with that being said, I have a VERY hard time believing this chart. Ai has solved the software development language problem— it’s also ironic that the first problem coders solved was themselves—

Software job postings are rebounding: US software development job postings on Indeed have increased +6.5% since the start of the year, to the highest since January 2024. Since May 2025, openings in this sector have risen +16.7%. As a result, the 21-day moving average is up to the highest since July 2024. By comparison, overall Indeed job postings remain near the lowest since February 2021. That said, software listings are still -69% below their March 2022 peak. At the same time, total openings are -35% below their 2022 high. Has the software job market bottomed?

@B2Balzer @michaeljburry @CNBC @Bloomberg @WSJ @barrons Many companies dilute, pltr is hardly the only offender. If the return on capital is high enough, stock can still work. Also, many have anticipated rising defense budgets. Our defense etf (with a large pltr position) has raised many assets and good perf. Note: I have no position

My extensive criticism of Palantir a month and a half ago ended the financial press's @cnbc @bloomberg @wsj @barrons coverage of what I have to say. What I had to say silenced them. They had covered my non-statements and regulatory filings for years breathlessly. But could not take the truth when I spelled it out in over 16,000 words. @GrainStats Democratizing information for about a year 😂— until agents fetching APIs and scraping have to pay $.00005 for each transaction.

@marknoland not sure if you saw the cloudflare news yesterday, but they basically did something similar. converts the page to markdown and you can scrape away with what you want all day long (for a price of course). also it evades cloudflare captchas… 🙈

in the near future Farmers will just have one app where they can get all the cash grain bids in their local area and nationwide maybe it won’t even be an app, maybe it’ll just be a text message they send to one of our agents to reply to them with best bid at a pre-determined time every day not difficult to do, i know farmers want it, merchants want it too thoughts?

@marknoland not yet i built all my scrapers before AI, then i had AI improve them over time using Hermes-Agent right now for all the non-standard daily stuff with open router to pick the best models for the specific tasks

that’s very cool maybe as a service/module that could be a way to connect to it for Farmers. e.g. the database/service has open standards, so it’s easy to build on top of so if people want to make additional module they very well can. link up to it via API and you can continue to build other apps with it too. gonna think about systems architecture how i can do it. i have a “dirty” database of how i’m doing it since i’m just pulling bids in a non-uniform way from the majors. would be easier if the uniform way to see/input data is in one place which requires elevators/processors to upload data

I am not a school. I am a male human. Simple question: if LSU’s head coach left for Alabama before a playoff, would LSU allow the coach to coach through the playoff? Yes or no
Preston Guy@PGuy77

@bsrippee Brian. You were the only school to make that call. Own it. You can’t act like he decided to leave before the playoffs were over when Ole Miss decided that for him. It’s not the “wrong” move and I’m not arguing it was the wrong move. You’re arguing points I didn’t make.

My cotton people in the U.S. may not want to hear it, but they need to see it. Brazil is cutting back acres as stated this week by almost 10%. The U.S. must show that despite subsidy, it is still price sensitive on acres. In the past, when these proces were on the board, 8.5-9.25 million acres were planted. Not planted then failed...Not planted then abandoned...Planted and the rest was decided by mother nature. Covid 2020 was the outlier. Listen to price, it doesnt lie
