just watched these two movies back to back and it was so obvious which one created a more compelling and honest story about the middle ages

"Two Ton" Tony Galento demolished Nathan Mann via a Round 2 KO in their heavyweight clash at Madison Square Garden in New York #OnThisDay in 1938. A little over 9,000 spectators reportedly saw Galento, described by the NY Daily News as having "all the skill of a caveman out for his Sunday dinner" and "looking like Gargantua with an uproarious bellyache", make short work of his opponent.
