@CalMac_Updates Thanks for the updates - Is it possible to ‘turn up & go’ for the scheduled departures from Lochranza prior to start of shuttle at 11:00, or even book on? (e.g. 9:30)
English

⚠️YELLOW #Claonaig #Lochranza 21Apr - 02May In addition to the scheduled timetable, MV Loch Riddon will operate a shuttle service, as and when required from 11:00 - 18:00 to assist with the volume of traffic.

@ingham_steve @DrMarkBurnley @GlynHowatson Same - VO2 down, power went up from rate but it was never pretty or at all sustainable, would never have worked on the water with a crew
English

@markrhomer @DrMarkBurnley @GlynHowatson Without going down a rabbit hole of relooking at data from 20y ago, I saw this in response to power going UP at the end of erg race pace. Discussions with Doust and Helen Carter, focussing on reduced O2 utilization ...
English

@ingham_steve @DrMarkBurnley @GlynHowatson We used to see this with GB rowers quite frequently in 2km with gas analysis - we put it down to technique falling apart as they went to 1/4 slide and the arms took over to get more rate, legs and glutes doing less work
English

@DrMarkBurnley @GlynHowatson From memory (!) I saw it regularly for race pace (hard start, even middle, hard finish) profiles
