St Mirren Football Club can confirm that we have been approached by Aberdeen FC to speak to manager Stephen Robinson in relation to their managerial vacancy. Aberdeen have met a contractual clause in Stephen’s contract so the club has granted them permission to speak to him regarding the vacancy. We hope for a swift resolution to this matter and will keep supporters updated.

Robbo is a god to me, and if he goes to Aberdeen he'll go with my very best wishes, no hard feelings whatsoever.
What he has achieved at Saints has been phenomenal, the most successful manager we've had in my lifetime.
I'm not massively sure Aberdeen approaching a manager who has won 1 of his last 13 league games is going to go down that well with the Red Army right enough.
What a fucking season this has been.

Was it surprising to see James Tavernier miss his penalty in the manner he did? Absolutely. It was very unlike him. Tavernier is the best penalty taker in the history of Scottish football. The pile on towards him (yet again) has been a disgrace. He’s bailed Rangers out time and time again and deserves so much better. Rangers still have a chance of becoming league champions this season. Back the team and back the captain.
