Chirping Trump to score a few points in Canada is OK. But Carney has gone too far. Getting in bed with China, pissing off Trump and other stunts like Ford's ad, is putting us on the wrong team. This coud actually become a real conflict between our two countries, all because the Liberals are trying to win votes from Elbows Up Canadians who are too stupid to realize they are being played.

The NHL Alumni Association is saddened to share that Jason Lafrenière has passed away at the age of 59. From St. Catharines, Ontario, Jason was a top producer in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), registering 95 points in 59 games during the 1984-85 season, and was selected by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. Jason made his NHL debut with Quebec on October 9, 1986. Four days later, on October 13, he scored his first career goal and would finish the game with two goals and one assist. Jason played two seasons with the Nordiques and went on to play for the New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning, respectively, finishing his NHL career with 34 goals and 87 points in 146 games played. Jason proudly shared that his father, Roger Lafrenière (d. 2009), who also played in the NHL with the Detroit Red Wings and the St. Louis Blues, taught him everything he needed to know about being a hockey player. We send our deepest condolences to Jason’s family, friends, and former teammates during this incredibly difficult time.

A well-earned victory tonight for the @EdmontonOilers Noah Philp scores his first NHL goal...a testament to never giving up on a dream! Andrew Mangiapane scores for the 2nd straight game...off to a solid start. Thatcher Demko was brilliant for Vancouver-34 saves.

Noah Philp turns 27 today. He had 19-16-35/+11 in 55 GP with the @Condors last season and played 15 games for the @EdmontonOilers and was sound defensively. The 6’3”, 198 right shot Center has solid shot at making the Oilers this season.

@Martyupnorth_2 Marty, I am very blessed my ancestors got on a boat and came to Canada to start homesteads to help develop Western Canada. It was very hard work for them they earned it. Very fortunate for us we have been the benefactors of their Christian values and excellent work ethic.

Imagine being born in Canada between 1946-1964 and thinking you're anything less than privileged/lucky. You're literally the 1% of 1% of 1% of humanity. Greater odds than 6/49, but sure....you worked harder than everyone else.
