@BeardsonBeardly @jarldietrich It's just... Soul less. It's like the developers built the mechanics of the game but not the heart, beauty and charm that other open world have. It's like if they took all the coolest shit from an open world game but they stitched it together with no reason other than "it's cool"

@jarldietrich I swear the quests were written by AI. It’s unbelievable how bad it is. I had to spend an hour killing 300 enemies to liberate a camp and the quest reward for that was crafting materials. The most tedious and boring shit on the planet.

Crimson Desert is actually a really bad game and anyone that likes it has something wrong with them mentally

@FachaKai @IdleSloth84_ How is it imagined? How can you think in such a simpleton mindset. It's just over exaggerated lighting to create realistic depth. Best thing about it is that developers get a scroll bar that determines how much they want of it

@shashpicious_ 100% but this is why designers are posting a new tool every day... The space is moving too fast and they have to chase powerful features constantly.

designers are confused right now. the old workflows are fading fast. but there’s no clear new workflow either. no one is discussing ux laws. no one’s debating colour theory. design system folks are quiet. and the so called influencers are just dropping a new tool link every day. creating more noise. but one thing is obvious, something big is shifting. this is not the time to wait for someone to package a safe, step-by-step “modern design process” so you can copy it. the process most of us follow was built in a different era. different tools. different constraints. it restricted designers into a canvas, into handoffs, into fixed roles. and we accepted it. this is actually an opportunity. instead of waiting for clarity, this is the time to test new workflows, rethink how we build, question what “designing” even means now. because whatever gets figured out in this phase is what the next generation will treat as normal.

I feel bad for a lot of the AI bros on here. It's like, you can tell they so badly want to be filmmakers and want to be accepted by the film community as filmmakers, but because they wont be, they are forced to sort of band together in their "these people don't get it and are scared" cave. Look, go get rich using AI to grift fake books or text books or generate 10 second slop that gets millions of views. That's your best bet. Truly. No one is seeing your AI film and thinking of you as a filmmaker. At best, you're commissioning a painting and then calling yourself a painter and that's not only sad, but really boring. At least go get rich off this.
