When two grown men rapidly adopt 5 vulnerable boys, rigorous vetting, thorough home studies, and ongoing monitoring aren’t optional, they’re basic child safety!! The system failed these kids. Children are not activism props or checkboxes. Demand evidence-based adoption reform and better oversight for ALL placements. Prioritize the most vulnerable.

Beware the empathy exploit. Empathy is good and right when thought through (deep), but can be deadly to civilization when simply stimulus-response (shallow). For example, releasing a repeat violent offender may feel good at first (shallow empathy for the criminal), but it is wrong to do so when that person will go on to hurt or murder innocent victims, as there should be deep empathy for future victims.

You cannot lecture America about “saving democracy” while engineering districts that effectively eliminate political opposition. Fair maps should represent communities… not function as political weapons designed to guarantee permanent one party control.
