I BELIEVE this is the same Jordan Williams who went missing in Devon in 2017, and whose mother put out a call to locate him through the press at that time. The area, age, workplace, and all known details of his home life (mental health issues, siblings, stepfather, etc) from the news check out when compared against his 2017 post history on Reddit that KiwiFarms found. You may not agree with me, but you will always know where you stand with me. Today in Billericay, a heckler tried to shout me down as I spoke about the normalisation of hatred towards Jews. I did not back down, because it needs to be said. British Jews are being targeted and too many people are pretending this is the same experience of other minorities. This lady implied Muslims are being similarly targeted. This is simply not true. Let's be honest about what is happening. Certain groups (in particular but not solely Islamic Extremists) are creating a climate of fear and intimidation that is normalising Jew hatred. I will never stand for that. Governments have spent too long hand-wringing, making excuses and hoping it would go away. It is time to call this what it is: a national emergency in our attitude, our urgency and our response. I will always engage with people who disagree with me. That is politics. But there is a difference between argument and intimidation. Shouting does not make a bad case good. It's done to silence others. And it certainly does not change the truth. The truth is that British Jews have been made to feel less safe in their own country. Our country. They are being singled out, threatened and harassed in ways that should shame everyone in public life. If we do not stand up now and stop this rise in antisemitism, then why bother saying "Never Again" at Holocaust Memorial Day? Because this is how it starts. I am not prepared to play along with the pretence that this is normal, or manageable, or just another example of tension between groups. It really is not. It is targeted hatred and it is getting worse. So my message is simple. Not here. Not in Britain. And not on our watch. We need to stop the hand-wringing and start doing the right thing. That means standing with British Jews openly, unapologetically and without fear.

🧵Parkrun has recently been in the spotlight regarding the battle for women's rights. The organization allows men to run in a "female" category where they are then ranked and their times are compared to those of actual female participants. There has been a lot of talk about how this is necessary for "inclusivity" without any explanation as to why. In fact, many of the men who run in the "female" category had no problem previously running in the "male" category, and parkrun even offers a "prefer not to say," option so that men who don't want to call themselves men don't have to. Despite all of this, these men receive quite a bit of support in registering as "female" without the majority actually understanding who it is they're really supporting. So I'd just like to take a minute to introduce you to a few men who believe themselves entitled to run as a "female" participant. Of course, this is not all. My wife was 22 and I was 23 when we married. We eventually had 8 children. Our 20s were marked by Boomer generation “advisors” at the grocery store, events, restaurants, and stores WARNING us not to have more children. They openly pitied us for having 3+ children. Boomer women thought my wife was being oppressed by her husband. At an Outback, a man openly told me “I feel sorry for you for having those kids.” Many Boomers were brainwashed to perceive having children “as a bad thing.” Worst of all, they felt empowered to insult a young couple in the presence of our children. Meanwhile, these people were in favor of importing the entire Third World into America for the sake of GDP. What a strange moment in American history.

@thatazuresea I love that stage. At first it's daunting, especially if you don't have chunks you can lose but must cut at the line level. That's where the jokes and metaphors are, and you hate to lose those. Then eventually you make friends with the negative space.

Then I had to lose 17K words, which depressed me for 20 minutes until I started cutting and got in the zone and that was even more satisfying (CUT IT TO THE BONE) and then I realized that it was maybe the once-anorexic part of my brain that thrilled to that task lol 😆

As I was pulling my manuscript together over the last few days, I felt as though I had cast a great net into the sea and now was gathering it in by the fistful. Hard work but immensely satisfying.
