@Route2FI I think with most of big accounts using AI agents posting fro them, we are creating tons of info for the same audience, so we are diluting wall likes, followers, etc. Not only in X but in all social networks.

Twitter was different for sure back in the days for crypto. I also remember spending 8 hours writing threads back in 2021. The rewards for doing so 5 years ago were insane. Easily 2-3k likes and 5-10k bookmarks. I think I posted like 3-4 threads like this per week, and my follower count increased by 30k per month. This lasted from like Aug/Sept 2021 to April 2022. But after that, it was pretty flat. Why? Because of the bear market. But I have seen people pivoting from crypto to AI content, and they are getting these crazy views/likes/bookmarks that CT people got 5 years ago. So I don't think the algo in itself is the main problem, it's the interest in crypto (which is lower today). That could very well change when the yield comes back, and by a raging bull market.

Spoiler: It wasn't that simple... He breezed through the NIF application, but when he went to the local Câmara Municipal for the CRUE, he was turned away. Reason? He'd only been in Portugal for 3 months. The employee insisted he had to wait until he'd lived here for 6 months. I jumped on the phone with the official: Me: "My client intends to stay at least 6 months (actually planning much longer). He has a valid rental contract proving his commitment." Official (checking their manual): "Our guidelines say he can only register after 6 months. Come back in 3 months." (For context: EU citizens must register for CRUE after 3 months if staying longer, and can often do so earlier if declaring intent.) After explaining the rules, the call ended abruptly. I advised Mr. Degen to try again another day, perhaps with a different staff member. The punchline? He returned the following week... to the same person. This time, no questions asked. CRUE issued on the spot. Moral of the story: Bureaucracy can be inconsistent, especially at the local level and especially in the outskirts. When something doesn't work the first time, whether it's a denied application, a misinterpreted rule, or just bad timing, don't give up! Try again, another day, another desk. Persistence (and a bit of polite flexibility) often wins. Relocating within the EU should be straightforward in theory, but real life has its quirks.

Why do people invest? Because if they leave their money in the bank, it loses value through the state’s money printing. Inflation is punishment for saving money. But an unrealized gains tax is punishment for investing. So you punish people for saving instead of investing, but you also punish people for investing instead of saving. Congratulations, you created the problem and killed the solution. Another proud day for the “First World.”
