Fact check: That quote about being “privately funded members of the Royal Family” did NOT come from Queen Elizabeth II. It came from the Sussex website outlining THEIR proposal, not in the Queen’s official statement. The Queen’s statement never used that wording. The Queen’s official statement simply confirmed they would no longer receive public funds and would step back as senior working royals. Whoever is pushing this is 100% wrong.

It’s misogyny. It’s everything, all of the above,” adding: “What has she ever done, really and truly? Has she murdered anybody? No.” She was joined by journalist Bryony Gordon, who said the abuse reflects modern culture’s cruelty rather than anything Meghan has actually done. Viewers slammed the segment online, with many arguing criticism isn’t racism or misogyny but stems from Meghan’s own actions and behaviour. One wrote: “Being called out for bad behaviour is not bullying, nor is it racist.” Another added: “Could it be it isn’t down to sexism or racism, but just down to some people simply don’t like her?” Classic This Morning deflection.
