I started my career in marketing at a small agency in Morocco. And one client changed everything. I worked with an e-commerce food brand and helped scale it from $8K → $40K/month using a small ad budget. This experience opened my eyes to the opportunities in e-commerce. So, I started my own DTC healthy food brand with a friend. I handled Meta ads, while she managed logistics. In just two years, we scaled the brand to $30K in monthly revenue with a 30% profit margin, and I recently sold my shares. Today, I’m looking for an opportunity as a Junior Creative Strategist. Inspired by @DTCMidas and @nicktheriot_, I know I still have a lot to learn. That’s why I joined @nicktheriot_’s 90 Days Growth Marketing Protocol. Every day, I’ll share what I’m learning here. My goal is to: - share knowledge - showcase my skill set - learn in public and get hired as a Junior in a scaling e-commerce brand with a strong team I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do.

For a beginner or junior-level strategist, Evolve by @spencepawliw should be the first step because Spencer goes from fundamentals to an advanced level. Then, if someone wants to fine-tune their craft, Tether Lab by @SarahLevinger is probably the best next step. Sarah goes very deep into psychology. The latest Motion Creative Strategy Bootcamp was also really good.

I'm going to delete this post in 48 hrs... Because I just dropped the full MASTERCLASS guide on how to cook UNLIMITED winning ads on Facebook. This is the exact TOP-TIER system we use to consistently find winners in accounts spending $500K+/month (even after months of testing duds). We charge $10,000/mo to do this for clients… But today, I'm giving it away 100% FREE. Like + Comment "WIN" and I'll send it to you.

Day 136: Road to $100k/month ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED 🦾 Finally hit the $100k/month mark after a little over 4 months from starting this store. I know this is peanuts based on daily screenshots I see from others here, but it's still a big milestone I've been striving to hit. And here's why: I've been in ecom for 10 years now.. I started my first dropshipping business in 2016 and later did Amazon FBA and then developed my own brand for several years... While these businesses were profitable and I was able to successfully exit each, I never hit massive scale with any. They were small wins but I always felt that anything under $100k/month was just not that impressive. It was a bar that I had set for myself... The thing is, throughout the last 10 years I acquired a wide variety of different skillsets. I became the jack of all trades... I could build out a store, design ads, source and negotiate for my own products, handle and manage freight, bookkeeping, and more... And during this process I was still doing random side gigs because I couldn't survive off the ecom money alone. I got into high ticket sales and learned about the info product space and how they construct offers, the various strategies they employ, and the creative ways they use long form sales pages to convert cold traffic... All of this experience gave me a wealth of knowledge but it also created a bit of an ego in me... I felt like I had a lot of experience and some real successes, so what more could there be to know. I already knew how to do it all... But there was a problem. I wasn't making the kind of money I felt like I deserved. And I made up a whole bunch of excuses in my mind as to why... Constantly blaming external forces or just claiming that I was unlucky. I kept asking myself, "if I have so much experience and am so good at what I do, then why am I not making the kind of money I want?" It seems like an obvious answer to most but I couldn't see it... In fact, I didn't really connect the dots until last year... I stumbled on @markbuildsbrand @spencepawliw and @shauneng and realized how deep you can go to become an expert with direct response and ecom. It kind of all clicked for me right then... My issue was not "bad luck" or external factors, it was clearly a skill issue that I just hadn't taken responsibility for... The difficult thing is, sometimes you're not always aware of what you're lacking in. It quite literally took my own beliefs getting destroyed to see the light. So once I sold my last brand, I decided to give this new sense of self a test and start a brand new store from scratch just to see. Here's what I was looking for during my research: 1) Competitor's doing 150k+/month in monthly visits 2) Solves immediate problem in passionate market 3) Can sell for 3x markup 4) Minimum $30 gross profit margin 5) Clear upsell path or ability to launch other SKUs to same audience Again, credit to Mark for laying out some of these key criteria during the research process. First product I tested had some traction but the unit economics weren't there. AOV was just too low... After about a month I decided to pivot and found a brand quietly crushing it with this product that solved a very clear pain point. And instead of trying to compete with them directly, I repositioned the same product to a completely different audience. This was the winning ticket. The product got traction immediately. Just to be clear, this was not a Kalo rip or anything ripped, for that matter. Everything I created is original, with the product being the only thing that already existed. I just found another way to market it. This has been the unlock that I needed to experience to understand what goated marketers have been talking about all this time... The guys harping on the fact that you don't need to find the next "winning" product are talking about this... You can make good money by simply: 1) Finding an existing pain point and introducing a new mechanism that the market hasn't heard about OR 2) Take an existing mechanism and use it for a new audience that never thought about the particular solution you're offering. This is all laid out in Eugene Schwartz's teachings in Breakthrough Advertising. At the end of the day, understanding these things on a deep level will help you beat 99% of people that are looking for quick wins but don't really understand the why behind what they're doing (which was me for many years). It's been really fun to document this process and meet a lot of cool people along the way. It's time to hunker down, get my stock situation sorted and see if i can now 5-10x this. I won't be making daily updates anymore but will still be active and posting things I find interesting or useful. That's all for now. Thanks to those who followed along and supported. Onward and upward!

@marsil_saad thanks for the offer. However, whoever I end up hiring, I'm looking for someone who can be 100% all in. It never really works having someone who is also trying to do their own thing on the side

Day 128: Road to $100k/month Slowly but surely we're getting there. Multiple adsets are pulling their weight. Trying my best not to simply make small iterations off winners but ensure I'm taking bigger swings. Thinking through it today though, I think at this scale, I have more budget to unlock before worrying too much about creative saturation... I'm at about $2k in spend/day but I feel like I'm worrying as if I'm spending $10-$20k/day. I'm trying to get inventory and operational things sorted before CNY because I don't want that to fuck me when we're scaling every day.. A bit challenging to do all of this while I'm supposed to be on "vacation" with family but these are the joys of entrepreneurship... Wouldn't have it any other way. If you read my message from yesterday you know my new advertorial isn't doing much and today I realized why... The ads that are funneling to the advertorial are selling the product as the solution. The buyer reads the ad and is ready for the product page but then they land on this long blog style advertorial and are thinking "wtf" and they bounce. So rather than try to go crazy with a bunch of changes, I'm tweaking the headline and sub-headline to reframe the article and then adding a "product update" cta at the top to give users an early CTA to see the product immediately. Hoping this helps with it but if not, then I'll need to restructure things a bit more in depth. That's it today. Onward and upward.

We've reached a new low...🤦‍♂️ I'm all about direct-response copywriting, but WTF. It's funny cause I see a lot of people on X talk about how they see these crazy black-hat pages, but I never see them personally. This has to be the craziest landing page I've ever seen.

❗️Shopify is playing pranks on its merchants again. It's automatically limiting the data it shares back via ANY of your pixels, including the one from Meta, which means your ads won't be able to optimize efficiently. To prevent that... Go to Customer events (search for it in the search bar at the top). Then switch every value in the data column to Always on. Do this on all your stores now.

❌ STRIPE SUSPENDED❌ I was eager for 2 weeks to post my first "Day 0 to 10k per month" and document my journey but after opening my LLC, finishing the shopify and everything my stripe account got SUSPENDED today ... Before I even started ! But the journey will not end here. I will use Funnelish with NMI processor I will try that and see how it goes. But it's still a bummer, I wanted to launch for just 10 days before chinese new year and now I need to wait after the holiday. My dream of having fun with ecom shall continue. Pray for me. I'll keep you posted.
