I really hate this scene. Why is Superman yelling out his emotions to a man who has already shown he's beyond reason? Lex had just executed an innocent person in front of him It feels less like Superman and more like a forced attempt to manufacture an "epic" emotional climax.

Rewatching Troy (Directors Cut) Decent action and visuals, the script is horrible. Actually, I'd call it hostile. How is Eric Bana the only decent character in this movie? Everyone else is a greedy, murderous villain. We can't act like this was a good flick. It's awful.

The Odyssey has more red flags than San Francisco preparing for a Xi Jinping visit, but in no way do I think it will flop. Avatar movies make more money than the GDP of a small European country and they suck. If I am wrong real free to roast me until the end of time.

His property taxes went from $1,400 a year to $8,200. The roof needs replacing. $12,000. The foundation is cracking. $15,000 to fix. The HVAC is dying. $8,000. He called me last month and said he's trapped. The house he owns costs more to maintain than his mortgage ever did. He can't sell because capital gains tax will destroy him. He can't stay because the maintenance will bankrupt him. He can't downsize because everything else costs the same or more. He spent 15 years paying off a house thinking that meant he was done paying. He was just getting started. Owning a home doesn't mean freedom. It means you traded a mortgage to a bank for a maintenance bill to the universe. And the universe always wins.
