I presented to a room full of passionate teachers eager to better support their students. In my presentations, I strive to bridge research and practice — sharing evidence-based and practical strategies so teachers can make meaningful shifts in their classrooms. #PD
So proud of this kindergarten student. We started weeks ago looking more at the first sound in words. Now she’s reading words. Love seeing her growing confidence with blending and reading! ❤️

My Dad Wrote a book!
Attention all motorsports enthusiasts, here is my book on the great engineer, race car driver and designer, Canadian Bill Sadler. Bill not only created innovative race cars, he also designed and flew a variety of self-produced aircraft.
I have so many books I need/want to read this summer… but The Writing Revolution is at the top. Anyone looking to do a book study with me? Love some company and discussion as I go through it! : )
An important PSA for @parents:
These are Squigz. They are fun little suction cups and my daughter loves them. As a fun parent, you might think “I wonder how well these would stick to my forehead?”
So you’ll try it, they’ll stick, and your child will just beam pulling them off.
Reading the next chapter of Next STEPS to prepare for @ONlit_social book study tomorrow night and LOVING all the practice activities from early alphabetic to consolidated phases. Definitely a book worth having in your collection! ❤️

We continue to focus on sentence writing. This week I made mixed up sentences they had to cut apart and then put in an order that made sense. We practised writing the sentence below! They did awesome! We have also started shared writing with our UFLI sentences!
