I'm glad the US President and the rest of the world are seeing the BBC for what it is. Its failure to tell the truth on everything from transgender ideology to economics to Gaza has done huge damage to politics and government in this country. This should be the end of nationalised broadcasting.

I’m very sad to say that my Mum, Ruth Hazelgrove, passed away last weekend, aged 61. I will always miss her. Family was the centre of her world. She also championed others, with a strong sense of social justice. I will always be so proud of her and in awe of her strength. ❤️💔

@MartinSLewis As a former contact lens wearer I found that contact lenses were a younger person’s game. Desk work indoors tends to reduce your blink rate and I found that my eyes became drier. So I embraced specs and have several different pairs.

Just had my third 'contact lenses lesson'. I finally managed to get a lens in each eye after much effort, though getting them out was hard. Still not good enough for them to let me buy the lenses. Did anyone else out there find it this hard!

And while we are at it: Accusing Israel of well-documented war crimes, anger at Israel - not antisemitism. @JamesMelville Well I’m a Roman Catholic atheist. And that isn’t a contradiction to me. You have a religious upbringing and it doesn’t leave you even if you no longer have faith.

“I was christened. So that is my church – has been all my life.” ~ Keir Starmer. Yet, in 2021 he said, “I am not of faith, I don’t believe in God.” He’s a conveyor belt of disingenuous comments.

The Hillsborough families will never see true justice for their loved ones. But their tenacity, dignity and refusal to be silenced means no other bereaved families will ever have to ensure the same ordeal. That is their legacy - and it will stand for generations to come.

If only Angela Rayner had followed the Telegraph’s advice. Then they might not call her a hypocrite.
