Mhesh from the County Assembly of West Pokot has decided kama mbaya mbaya. Daughter of Agrippina who appeared to be addressing the nation under the heavy influence of Kanamba Special, is now accusing the Speaker of supplying her with high voltage electricity so that her name could mysteriously appear on the list of waheshimiwa headed to Mombasa for a “very important workshop.”
But after Daughter of Agrippina allegedly served the honorable Speaker with food that faces the earth, our boy suddenly developed selective amnesia and looked the other way. Honestly this is pure injustice,, after hearing good, the least he could have done was secure Mhesh a window seat to Mombasa. Ayaaam telling you Omwami, Kenya is not for beginners!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Call it a millennial crisis if you want.
But in my 30's, I realized l don't actually want the life I worked so hard for. I don't care about titles. I don't care about climbing anyone else's ladder. I care about time. I care about slow mornings. I care about peace. I care about bare feet at the beach with nowhere to be. I still want to make money.. just not at the cost of my life.

@BenardEvans @Kairucore In an ideal world, baby Jesus would be president and every thieving politician would be in hell burning.

Ruto is a terrible President but an extremely ruthless and effective politician. I always give him credit for that, notwithstanding his methods.
With government machinery, he is more lethal as a politician. At some point, it will be either the opposition joins forces or some people from the opposition join Ruto.
Even if they do not join forces now, they will be forced to join when we have a runoff (because I don't think Ruto will garner the 50%+1 even if we have 10 other candidates).
At the point of a runoff, it will probably be too late for the opposition to unite.
Some will be too tired to continue with campaigns, some will be paid by Ruto to keep quiet and go on holiday and therefore indirectly join him.
The opposition must therefore unite before the elections.
This is the reality.

The point of winning is to remove Ruto? Please explain to me how just removing him solves our problems.

Folks, I took sides against Affordable Housing policy early. @NationAfrica today confirms that policy was sold on lies. Select contractors are making returns several times above market rates. But there was a time when blowhards thought KK could do no wrong. Or did not care. 👇

Working in Nairobi suburbs feels like every morning, you step into a version of life that looks like yours, and in the evening, you return to the one that actually is. You clock in at 8 and clock out at 5 from a 20-storey building with glass doors, biometric scans, and elevators that whisper. A few floors above you, lights are still on. People working late, because time there converts to money.
Outside, the roads are wide. You pass by Karen Office Park, then roll past The Hub, wine shops, and coffee shops selling a cup you'll never afford. You’re still in work mode. Polite. Measured. Composed. You head downtown. Britam Tower cuts the sky. For a second, it feels like you’re part of it. You’re not.
Traffic drags you further. You stop at Westlands Square, not because you need to, but to pause for a second. The commute slowly strips off the mask.
Around you is fellow lower income employees rushing to beat traffic just to get home in time to sneak in a nap. You stroll into Sarit Centre to kill time. Inside, everything is controlled, light, temperature, and spending. Outside, a guy is selling smokies next to a car worth his lifetime income. Nobody addresses it. But it’s there.
You don’t stay long. Across Waiyaki Way, Microsoft building stares at you as if to say, "You'll never work here." You board a Super Metro and pay 20 bob to Kangemi. Inside the bus, conversations switch language, not just words but weight. You put in your earpods, but you don’t play any music. Westlands is already saying enough. You stare out the window.
Somewhere in that skyline, opportunity exists but not equally. By the time you reach Kangemi, the city drops the filter. You pass by your favourite local joint, but today, you sit a second longer.
You check your phone, notifications from friends living both lives, one posting rooftop cocktails in Upper Hill, another asking for a connection, a job, a chance.
Tomorrow, you’ll iron the same shirt and return to the suburbs. You’ll speak their language and play their part, but one thing remains clear, unless you break from that place, you'll never live in their world which you spend 8 hours a day building.

Sir Alex Ferguson was taken to hospital after falling unwell at Old Trafford shortly before Manchester United's match against Liverpool.
Sources stressed it was a precautionary move and not an emergency situation as Ferguson was taken from the stadium in an ambulance.
Club officials are optimistic Ferguson will soon be fit enough to return home.
