@DShamen @3lfares Yet genetic and archeological studies that have been done on the subject show strong genetic continuity of Egyptians. No evidence of arab mass migration or genocide of Egyptians. You can’t prove otherwise, unless the evidence is your arsehole.

@J80936488 @3lfares @kat_pysh42493 @Alonso_GD You should learn some history. Sadat tried diplomacy many times before the October war. The war was designed specifically to disrupt the status quo and end the political stalemate that Israel enjoyed after the war of attrition was over.

@3lfares @kat_pysh42493 @Alonso_GD Tell yourself whatever you want. At the end of the day, it was still a tactical Israeli victory which led to Egypt recognizing Israel and getting blacklisted by the Arab world for a while

@Alonso_GD When you say no evidence was found, you cross referenced these claims against the Hamas confessionals, I mean martyr notices, in which, in dozens of instances, the claim that no military target was present was invalidated by Hamas providing the name, rank and serial # of the🎯

A terrorist, the whole muslim brotherhood is a terrorist organization who killed thousands of Egyptians. USA supported this regime, was about to flip on Egypt after the 2013 revolution. Egyptians did the right thing in 2011 & did it again in 2013 after removing this guy.

You’re collapsing complex historical categories into a slogan and then calling it analysis. No serious historian treats “who fired the first shot” as the sole definition of aggression or self-defense. That’s not how international relations works, and it’s not how the 1956 or 1967 wars are studied. Take 1967. By the time Israel struck, Gamal Abdel Nasser had already: - Massed troops in Sinai - Expelled the United Nations Emergency Force - Closed the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping Under international law and historical convention, closing the Straits was widely treated as an act of war. So reducing the question to “who attacked first” is a textbook oversimplification. Yes, Menachem Begin later described the war as a “choice”—but that quote is constantly stripped of context. His broader point was that Israel chose to strike before being attacked in order to avoid what it perceived as an imminent, coordinated assault. That’s the definition of a preemptive—or if you prefer, preventive—war. Those are debated categories, but they are not the same as unprovoked aggression. Same issue with 1956. Ignoring years of Egyptian-backed fedayeen attacks and the blockade of Israeli shipping, and then saying “Israel attacked first,” again reduces a multi-year escalation to a single moment. That’s not serious history—that’s cherry-picking. And the claim that saying Israel was “attacked first in every war” is a “lie” depends entirely on how you define “attack.” If you define it narrowly as “who fired the first conventional shot,” you can make that argument. If you include blockades, proxy warfare, troop mobilization, and expulsion of peacekeepers—as historians generally do—the picture is very different. So this isn’t about people needing to “Google 1967.” It’s about understanding that wars don’t start at the first airstrike—they start with a chain of escalatory actions. If you want to argue that Israel made strategic choices—and it did—that’s a legitimate debate. But pretending those choices happened in a vacuum, and reducing everything to “who shot first,” is not a serious reading of history. But then again, you’re not a very serious person.

Calling “Google 1967” like it’s a mic-drop only works if you actually grapple with what happened. Egypt didn’t just posture—it closed the Straits of Tiran (a recognized act of war), expelled UN peacekeepers without resistance, and massed 80,000 troops on Israel’s border while coordinating with neighboring states. That’s not some abstract “tension,” that’s a textbook casus belli under international law. Pretending Israel just woke up and chose aggression ignores the sequence that made conflict all but inevitable. And let’s not gloss over the UN’s role—you know full well those forces withdrew immediately when asked, removing the last buffer precisely when escalation was peaking. Everyone involved understood what that meant. So framing 1967 as if Israel had no legitimate claim to self-defense isn’t just oversimplified—it’s willfully selective. If you’re going to tell people to “Google,” at least don’t skip the parts that destroy your narrative.
