A week later and I’m still excited about this win. The Right to Read bill means every Massachusetts student, including English learners, gets reading instruction grounded in evidence. This is the state's first standalone education bill to become law in nearly a decade, and it took a coalition to get here. Among the many who made it happen: @MaryTamerBoston of @mass_potential, Jennie Williamson of @EdTrustMA, @kerry_dons of TFA Massachusetts, Lisa Lazare (formerly @Ed4Excellence Massachusetts), and @NCTQ’s own @RonNobleJr. THANKS to the legislators, families, and teachers who supported this bill.
