i have never seen The Daleks’ Master Plan, so what is the best possible way to watch it/experience it? i’ll be watching the remaining eps of course, but do i do loose canon recons, or audio, novelisation, etc. for the missing?

The direction of The Tenth Planet is unusually dynamic for the 60s, and it helps add a lot of tension to the many many scenes in the main base set. But sometimes the direction is just perhaps a bit too dynamic for it’s own good

Okay the two things I didn't like about The Giggle were the mention of Wilf's absence being down to him shooting moles? Just felt incredibly out of character for him and I feel like like there could have been a dozen better reasons for why he couldn't be there. Also this robot:

@master_switch That makes sense, thanks for explaining. I was honestly pretty confused by what that whole scene near the end was implying, if Rose is meant to be non binary or a binary trans woman… and what it had to do with the situation at hand.

I'd rather heavy handed "cringe" trans representation than playing it safe and not having any at all

@FrostyMacWHO @trakennyssa i am worried how this careless writing could be used by transphobes. didn’t see much trans celebration here, more the harassment and victimisation. even the celebration of trans people seemed superficial, focusing on looks

@master_switch @trakennyssa That’s more than reasonable, I would just be careful about implying ill intent that actual transphobes could try to leverage or take advantage of to drive wedges in the community

the “binary binary non binary” is one of the worst doctor who moments ever my god i cringed so bad

@master_switch @trakennyssa I do think that’s kinda ascribing ill intent that I’m not entirely certain Russell is even capable of. He’s corny, not hateful.

@TharriesYT Why can’t there be trans/disabled rep without it having to be the plot. The pronouns / non binary dialogue felt very unnecessary (almost mocking?)

@jennyeclair don’t know if it’s similar to difflam but corsodyl mouthwash really works for me, normally gone within 48hrs

suffering from a nasty crop of tiny painful apthous mouth ulcers- pain disproportionate to size of ulcer, havent eaten red seeded fruit/ citrus/ acidic foods in years - poss defficient in something- any clues/ rinsing with difflam/ using anbesol/ plus paracetamol and orabase gel?
