@TheHUB @moonshiesty This feels like Crypto and TradFi convergence happening right before our eyes. Taking best practices from both industries and building something better.

"TheHUB is a huge part of blink. Rather than building a cloud hosted exchange or sequencer, we're leveraging TheHUB for verifiable, low-latency, fair access to blink." - @moonshiesty
blink@blinktrade

blink is a crypto-native exchange built around physical market infrastructure, with support from @doublezero and @thehub. Low-latency execution (<1ms). Equalized access for colocated participants. Verifiable settlement on Solana. The goal is simple: bring real exchange-grade market structure to crypto.

These guys at @blinktrade know what they are doing and are thinking clearly. Optimized trading architecture and high performance while integrating decentralized systems to quickly build trust and confidence for traders. Things are teed up for quick traction here.
blink@blinktrade

Crypto built global settlement before it built exchange-grade execution. blink is built to close that gap. Physical infrastructure. Equalized access. Tradfi-grade execution. Blockchain settlement. Today, blink comes out of stealth.

The more validators that join @doublezero and get rewarded for publishing shreds, the more beautiful multicast blasts you will see in this dashboard visualization, and the fewer “lulls” between blasts where the shreds get sent out slowly over turbine. Let’s get it done.
DoubleZero@doublezero

Transparency is at the heart of everything that gets built at DoubleZero. On DoubleZero’s newest dashboard, you can see multicast happening in real-time. Live shred delivery performance, global publisher coverage, and expected protocol revenue distribution, updated continuously. ↓

@LoganJastremski I really like your focus on MCL and we’ve had great convos on this, but I recommend tightening up your podcast remarks re: MCP vs MCL on Solana because you tend to mix them up. The current Anza MCP proposal is still single-leader and transactions still have to travel across the world to the leader. Like you, I dream of the promise of MCL for true inclusion and block-building at the edge, but this is not it (yet).

I should probably write something longer about this, but let me take a short stab Blockbuilding was a band-aid for single-leader blockchains. In most chains today, one leader controls all the transactions for a given window of time. For that window, they're basically god mode, they decide what goes in the block, in what order, and when As trading volumes picked up, building blocks became extremely profitable. Third-party services emerged to help leaders maximize the value of each block. Over time, using these services went from optional to mandatory, if you weren't going through a blockbuilder, your transaction wasn't landing In large part, this gatekeeping was a symptom of broken market structure. These services filled a real need, but it was a business built on a shaking foundation, one entity having monopoly power over inclusion The moment a blockchain transitions from one leader to two or more, you create a market. If one leader doesn't include your transaction, the other will. You introduce competitive tension at every layer of the stack This shift from single-leader to multiple concurrent leaders is one of the most important design changes in blockchain trading infrastructure. The network creates multiple ingress points, eliminating any single point of monopolistic control, and enforces deterministic ordering by priority fee across all leaders That priority fee is the network's revenue, its take rate, measured in bps, just like a traditional exchange. Instead of blockbuilders capturing this value, the network does, creating a sustainable long-term cash flow model for the chain itself We believe all businesses whose core revenue driver is purely blockbuilding will trend toward zero under this architecture, and will need to shift entirely into market making to survive this new paradigm
Arjun@clipsofcrypto

"I'm personally now super bearish block builders. They were mostly a relic of single leader design where they had god mode and acted as a middleman" Logan on why block builders are a dying breed and MCP shifts the focus from gatekeeping access to actually improving execution for users "Single leader design gave specific parties monopolistic power for a period of time and really distorted the markets" "Blockchains are ledgers. They are good at moving value around. As they get more performant they get better at trading. We just need to remove that monopolistic power"

@Austin_Federa @HypoNyms @bw_solana Can you please drop the full episode now? I’m going out on my bike and need the podcast juice to keep my mind of the leg burn. This debate has me really intrigued, and the best thing of all is I suspect that these two guys won’t be mixing up MCP and MCL. Let’s go!

Full episodes drop tomorrow 🔥 What I love about this debate is it's not really a debate on direction. Both @HypoNyms and @bw_solana see benefits from MCP -- but differ on perhaps how urgent the problem is and the degree to which the Constellation proposal addresses current market structure dynamics. I still think we can talk about hard things, iterate, and reach the consensus in crypto
Validated@ValidatedPod

Some hot takes on this week’s @ValidatedPod: a debate on Constellation, the latest MCP proposal from @Anza_xyz. First up is @HypoNyms of @Temporal_xyz on Constellation and its implications for @Solana’s market structure. @HypoNyms challenges Anza asking… Where's the analysis? @bw_solana’s take: “It’s really hard to know [...] what did you not include in a block?” From his perspective, selective censorship resistance is a key benefit of MCP. You might want to turn your notifications on for this one. Both full episodes drop s00n™️

Back in 2016, I pitched some of the largest traders on building a high-performance trading network for crypto. They said: “Too early.” Ten years later, we’re finally here. Today we launch @doublezero Edge on Solana via multicast > the fastest market data propagation in crypto. A new era of performant on-chain trading and market microstructure begins now. Join us.
DoubleZero@doublezero

Introducing DoubleZero Edge. DoubleZero Edge is a new platform delivering real-time market data to traders and market participants, powered by multicast. Its first feed: raw Solana shreds directly from leaders, delivered over a high-performance fiber network. Infrastructure that levels the playing field for validators and matches traditional trading systems is here. Dive in ↓

@jump_ @Aptos 6/ Global AI storage doesn't work on best-effort networking. Shelby runs on @doublezero's dedicated global fiber network. Deterministic bandwidth, predictable routing, low latency. 30+ cities, 5 continents. Sub-second delivery as a guarantee, not a best case.
