The Apostolic keys and priesthood power (God's authority) were never past down into The Church. Local leadership persisted, many of the scriptures were passed down and translated, etc. Government eventually took control of The Church and mingled Greek philosophy into the Christian doctrine to make it more edible for the people of the time, corrupting the interpretation of the Bible. God called a prophet in 1820 and gave him power to translate the Book of Mormon, to testify of Christ, to strengthen the Biblical narrative, to clear up false doctrine, and show fruits of a true prophet. Jesus truly said that false prophet would come. He also taught true prophets would come. And that you would know them by their fruits.

@The_Catechumen Why is it always insults that Catholics respond with, rather than actually refuting the point? But any Catholics, feel free to come for a live stream viewer chat on our YouTube, from about 9:30pm EST Mon-Thu this week, we can talk about it.

@seanryanlayton @Connor_Shack There is no way you seriously think that makes sense. Joseph Smith was also killed. Why are his successors legitimate but not Peter’s successors? Why would God wait 1800 years to restore the Church? This is painfully dumb.

There was a gap because people killed Peter who held the keys, and the rest of the apostles either also killed or had to go into hiding. Just like Jesus overcame death, the church overcame the apostasy. The priesthood was restored and given to the prophet God called in these last days.

@mateusxe @duhnigguhjoey @mohammed_hijab Something being minority or majority doesn't necessitate something is true, in that case Christianity itself is false because most people aren't Christians. You keep saying context without explaining the context. Start with that.

@SunniSial @duhnigguhjoey @mohammed_hijab Your argument is weak because it's the minority view and also because the text itself does not support it, reading it in context it can't be talking about the Quran itself, it's talking about the previous Scriptures.

@mateusxe @duhnigguhjoey @mohammed_hijab What proof did you give besides committing two fallacies A) appeal to authority (not realising mine is also a held belief in some commentaries) B) appealing 2 majority as evidence You haven't actually engaged with any of my points showing how it doesn't refer to Muhammad

@SunniSial @duhnigguhjoey @mohammed_hijab You're not honest because you won't accept any proof I provide. Even if 99.9% of interpreters says it's talking to Muhammad you won't accept it, because you NEED it to be false. So there is nothing I can do here, am I right?

@mateusxe @duhnigguhjoey @mohammed_hijab *IF* im wrong. I'm waiting for you to prove that not salivate over dreams. We have made a strong case for it not referring to Muhammad (SAW) A) the verse doesn't mention him B) how can he be the one in doubt when other verses say he was never in doubt 🧐 Over to you.

@SunniSial @duhnigguhjoey @mohammed_hijab You know your religion falls apart if you're wrong, right? You need this minority view to be true or else the islamic dilemma destroys islam. I know you're mad because of that. That's the reason you have to attack me personally 🤷‍♂️

@mateusxe @duhnigguhjoey @mohammed_hijab Look if you're going to rely on AI then debate is already finished If you make claims you will have to provide evidence for it If not then you're just an embodiment of this meme I'll give u one more chance to respond my counter argument against your initial so-called rebuttal

@mateusxe @duhnigguhjoey @mohammed_hijab A) the words 'O prophet' isnt in the original Arabic text thats why it has those small brackets, it's an interpretation B) you posted below a tafsir which I don't follow C) in my article I already posted another tafsir which says the opposite so what now? Over to you.

@SunniSial @RXN_GM @mohammed_hijab What? Matthew's gospel explains what the sign of Jonah is: "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth". And then Jesus resurrected in the 3rd day fulfilling the sign.

@Riuzake_1932 @servoBasilio O que é qualidade? As pessoas antes de conhecer a Cristo não tem qualidade mesmo. Você espera evangelizar para um santo? A evangelização é o primeiro passo, a santificação é consequência...

O processo do Pe. José Eduardo @pejoseduardo foi arquivado, mas ele ficou com uma dívida de R$ 250 mil referente aos custos do processo, e, claro, o padre não tem condições de pagar. @aussiecritic0 @eatlivingbread We don’t teach an active predestination to hell, just a passing over. Our language can be harsher than Augustine but we’re not saying anything he didn’t. In Calvinism nobody is damned except based on their own freely chosen sins
