I'm excited to start my next chapter in #HPC at @manningcics & @UMassAmherstIT next week! I'll be working in #HPCFacilitation and I'm thrilled to serve the UMass community and help with #ResearchComputing needs and workflows.

I worried a lot about this as a PhD student since I could see every flaw in my work. But, a dissertation is the beginning of a career not the culmination. It just needs to show that you've learned to make contributions to your field and be FINISHED!

@mathgeorgia That’s not supported yet (it’s a cool idea, nobody has asked for it before) but would be totally do-able! Let’s follow up on the issue - I think I know what we can try!

Hey @vsoch , in #shpc can you define registry entries for local sif files? I've read the docs for `shpc add` and I'm not sure. Got some local images I'd like to write shpc registry entries for!

@mathgeorgia I think most of the user base uses "install" to install from a version controlled and automatically updated recipe, so if you have an additional question or hit a bug please open an issue github.com/singularityhub… and we'll fix it right away!
