@MrsMathematica We often have 40 mins classes(20 mins periods so can be any multiple of that but most are 40 mins or hour) It was a shock!!!! I do v few 'starters' and crack into teaching v early. Good routines and little things that save time (planners have Whiteboards which is brilliant!)

* * 50 minute lessons advice needed * * I've taught 60 minute lessons since I was a trainee - 21 years ago. My new school has moved to 50m this September. Anyone else made the change from 60 to 50? How do you get the most out of ~47 mins of teaching, especially extended practice.

Unexpected issue when moving home:
CCEA Analytics aren't available until the end of Sept/start of October & I am itching to get at this info for my team.
It feels wrong to start teaching tomorrow without having fully analysed the exam cohort's performance!

incoming blog post about using Edexcels Results plus to get insights into the performance of your cohort! I focus on where we are less than the edexcel average and try to identify why ... it "could" be as simple as providing rulers in the exam hall!! or something more complex
