Having beer with my father in law and he’s reminding me that San Joaquin Memorial had Quincy Pondexter and the Lopez twins and couldn’t win state in California. Even more appalling than what my friends remind of that Seattle Prep couldn’t win state with Martell Webster and Spencer Hawes. I wonder what other super teams fell short in HS basketball history.

@DaKidGowie @SouthwestAir I flew to SJC last week and there were two people in our row. They literally made us sit aisle and middle, she moved to the (open) window seat and they said that wasn’t her assigned seat and moved her back. (Same row, no upgrade…just distancing). It is so asinine.

I purchased an exit row seat on Feb. 9th and received the confirmation email. How is it that the day of the flight, I now have a middle seat and no one can explain what happened or do anything about it?😒

@colinokeefe Frustrating. The goal should be to give M’s the best chance for the WS. Another pen arm or a corner OF really helps that. Heck, trading Randy and adding Tucker only gets us to about 200. Even though that deal is crazy. And 200 with the revenue coming in shouldn’t be a huge ask.

… among Seattle’s current offensive assistants, run game specialist Justin Outten has some previous OC experience. QB coach Andrew Janocko has worked with Kubiak at three separate stops. But we’ll see which assistants Kubiak takes with him.

When the Seahawks hired Klint Kubiak, a big part of his appeal was that he ran a proven NFL system (unlike his predecessor). So I imagine there would be appeal in replacing him with someone who runs the same system. That wouldn’t necessarily have to be an in-house person, but …

@picreu @mandrewood Maybe. I think the right back missed the ball because he didn’t see it as the other NC State player whiffed on the header and blocked the ball coming in from the RB’s vision. Either way I don’t think clear and obvious is met.

@matt_gr05 @mandrewood It is pretty obvious that he had an effect - if he's not there the right back is launching a counter. It wasn't clear that he was offside however - that's the issue. Hard to call without drawing the lines

Blown call. Dude was absolutely offsides on the initial cross, impacted the play. NC State was robbed

@picreu @mandrewood Yeah and VAR can only be used to correct a clear and obvious error. I don't think it was clear or obvious that 9 had any effect on that play.

@LupusBeowulf Yes. I coached the 6!in school so I had a huge rooting interest and admittedly I’m biased. But what a fantastic game. Healy and that second NC State goal was fantastic soccer.

By rule that goal should have been disallowed.
As shown on the review, there was a player in an offsides position on the service who affected the play. Had he not been there, his defender would have got to the ball.
With that said good season. Great game. Proud of the boys.

@JonathanRJacob @VanAllenPlexico I think ESPN is running into the issue that other than the CFP many can do without their content. MNF and the best college games are available over the air and the rest of it I can do without. The YTTV product is great and I got a $30 per month discount while without ESPN.

I've seen a lot of "both-sides-ism" about Disney/ESPN vs YouTubeTV. I've probably done some myself.
But when you really look at it, isn't this Disney wanting to 1) drive customers to their in-house services, and 2) jack up YTTV rates again, and YTTV saying, "We just did that, & don't want to raise them again so soon"?
So isn't it pretty much 100% Disney/ESPN that's the problem?

@coreysampson04 @joshuaconerlyjr Never met Josh personally, but my sister taught him at Rainier Beach and he is so cool to her and will even send my son a message or two when he is with his Aunt Caitlin. My son was excited to see him on MNF last week.
