New data on international trade in goods and services shows the US effective tariff rate was 11.3% in November 2025. Compared to October, US goods exports fell $11.1B to $185.6B and US goods imports rose $16.8B to $272.5B. The goods deficits increased by $27.9B to $86.9B for the month. YTD, the goods deficit is 5.2% higher and the total deficit 4.1% higher than at the same point in 2024.
