Only a bit more than a month before I have to finalise this ever changing topic with my latest learnings and lessons learned. Plan is to make this about 50% developer focused and 50% IT Manager/Architecture/Functional focused.

Possibly my last post here. Have even been able to get off threads now (plus left heaps of groups on Facebook too)... I posted lots from Teched on Tour last week over on blue sky if interested. And no ads! "So long, and thanks for all the fish!"

Got to say, the SAP community seems to be coming over to BlueSky with momentum which is hopeful! Would be good to only use Threads and BlueSky!

@marcfbe @mianbsp My 2 cents - Mastodon is not great at keeping up the conversation IMO...I'm there but it is missing something. Plus I like following companies and other people outside of SAP so BlueSky has my vote now that companies are slowly moving there.

Looks like since 2020 release (in 2021) - A new Employee BP Model exists that might address this issue which looks awfully confusing to consider switching to: help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HAN…

Question: When SuccessFactors syncs Employees - Is it a bug if BP Supplier role (FLVN00) is added to the Employee BP record? Or is it a bug that employees show up in standard Supplier searches after doing this? Asking for a friend...

@mattharding @Telstra @Apple The last 2 major updates from Apple have been terrible. UX is going downhill and quickly. Cannot download playlists on Spotify after the update as well no matter how hard I try. Seriously Frustrated!!

Facetimed from my iPad using my email the other day, and now my wife's iOS18.0.1 is emailing my Android mobile instead of texting - Might be Australian @Telstra or some partial implementation of RCS that hasn't rolled out but it's a pretty buggy release so far @Apple!

@mianbsp They should have just presented the ABAP table CDS to developers IMO. That is the best clean core feature released this teched/Devtoberfest so far...I'm sure Dev Advocates will know to not just present Joule...
