@BP_Home_Loans There is too much emphasis on D1 & big schools @ the expense of sm schools when there is little to no control over school size & kids go to school based on where they live not on a ⚽️ program. Let the team be rewarded by playing in an appropriate div b/c it could be short lived

@DavidLeppke @jasonlefore @CIFState That is a broad stroke you are painting with. I coach at a private school who does not recruit for athletics. I do not disagree that there are some advantages, but to think that public schools do not recruit is not true.

@jasonlefore @CIFState Agreed!!! Private schools should be in their own division, because they can recruit and give scholarships,

Don’t understand why the @CIFState treats public schools & private schools the same. A public school of 500 students shouldn’t be playing against schools with 2,000-3,000 students. Punish the small schools that work hard & reward the bigger schools that don’t.

It would be a shame to punish Mira Monte for having an exceptional year, just the same as it would have been a shame to punish you a few years ago when you began to win regularly.

Arvin has larger enrollment Arvin-2019,20, 21 D6 Champs and only moves up 1 division. Mira Monte - No Playoffs past 2 seasons, only 1 since 2017. Mira Monte hasn't beaten Arvin since 2017 until this year.
