I build software with AI. No CS degree. No dev team. Two products live and growing. ExportRemix: export compliance for customs brokers and freight forwarders.

Using @anything is really that simple. Create software while chilling in Miami... Priceless!!! ✌🏻

Hey everyone, I need your help. I've spent the last 5 months building a software platform for the import/export industry, and it's ready for real users. If you know anyone who works as a customs broker, freight forwarder, or importer/exporter, please send them my way. I'm looking for beta testers and would love to connect. DM me here or reach me at matt@exportremix.com. Sharing this post helps more than you know. Thank you.

Each prompt ends with a specific test sequence so you know it works before moving to the next one. The whole thing is designed so that if any prompt fails, nothing in the existing app is broken because every new piece lives in its own files, its own routes, and its own tables.

I'm good with a LLM assistant here and there to help with questions and code. I'm not ready to have an agent 24/7 doing shit while I sleep with my eyes closed. I've had to catch/fix many LLM hallucinations. "Yeah but the agent will now catch the hallucinations!" ... Yeah I'm good. 😆

What you actually built (based on what I see): You're not running that architecture. Your infrastructure notes show: custom queue.js with MAX_CONCURRENT_JOBS=5 semaphore backed by Redis/Upstash, fire-and-forget job dispatch with polling, 3-retry logic, and an LLM fallback chain (Claude to GPT-4o to Grok). That's the exact pattern mature SaaS uses to handle LLM workloads. It's not fragile vibe code. It's a legitimate job queue.

What personal preferences should Claude consider in responses? Go to Claude's (any LLM) general settings and copy and paste this. You'll thank me later: For any content you create for me: "Avoid em dashes and use commas or periods instead." Unless it is absolutely needed when writing code for me you can use it then but not in standard content. Be honest and direct with me, even when it's uncomfortable. If I'm wrong about something, tell me clearly and explain why. Do not soften bad news, hedge excessively, or validate a decision just because I seem committed to it. I'd rather hear a hard truth than a comfortable answer that wastes my time or leads me in the wrong direction. If you're uncertain about something, say so plainly instead of guessing. When I ask for your opinion, give me your actual assessment, not what you think I want to hear. Push back on my assumptions when the evidence doesn't support them. I'm building real businesses and making real decisions, so accuracy matters more than encouragement.

It's handling it well overall. The truncation errors are the only real friction and we solved that with the chunked continuation approach. The platform issues are just Anything. com's dev server having occasional timeouts under heavy load — nothing to do with the quality of what's being built. By the time you finish Prompt 12 you will have the six hardest tools done: ISF Builder, Duty Calculator, PGA Checker, ADD/CVD Lookup, and Entry Builder. Everything after that — FTA Qualifier, Dashboard, RegIntel extension, Post-Entry Tools, Pulse, Shield, Deadlines — is progressively lighter work. The worst is behind you. Keep saying "continue" until the Entry Builder confirms all 6 steps are complete and the page hot-reloads clean, then we move to Prompt 13.

2 million credits were used this month. You think I have been busy vibing on @anything lately? AI can be fun as long as you keep your eyes on the prize and stay focused.

The only thing you could possibly be missing is who is going to teach all these new kids the hands-on training they need? I've been doing appliance repair over 20 years. Not many of us left out there now to even teach the new talent. So if they get their education from a robot and not a person with the skills. Then what happens when they have to change a motor and a belt on a dryer?

AI will create a blue-collar super boom bigger than the Industrial Revolution; technicians, electricians, welders, hvac, plumbers, construction, roofers and new businesses will be created to manage it all resulting in a further expansion of our middle class wealth. Get ready! Expansion follows in the wake of all breakthroughs & the bigger the breakthrough the bigger the expansion. What am I missing?

Been reading a lot of Vibe coding complaints and very little accountability. Do some research and educate yourself like an adult before you complain on X. I did not start building anything until I watched/listened to at least 2 weeks worth of YouTube videos explaining the process. And when I did have a bug which in the beginning took sometimes days to repair, I kept at it til it was fixed and learned from it. Could I have cried like a bitch on social media? Yeah for sure but what does that teach me?

I asked Claude to research exactly what a US export customs broker does every single day. Not theory. Actual workflow. Step by step. Document by document. Then I gap-analyzed ExportRemix against everything it found. 8 missing features. All real. All confirmed by the research. Built all 8. Commerce Country Chart license determination engine AES/EEI filing deadline tracker by transport mode Destination Control Statement auto-generation (15 CFR 758.6) Multi-document PreClear with invoice vs packing list cross-check Certificate of Origin generator (Generic + USMCA) OFAC 50% Rule disclosure with audit trail ITN citation formatter for bill of lading Value at port of export calculator No CS degree. No dev team. Just deep research first, then build. Most SaaS founders skip the research and guess. The research is the product.

Just shipped MIACompass Hub and took 2nd place at the DeepStation Google Hackathon last week. Now exploring what's next. 🧭 I'm a full-stack founder based in Miami, building at the intersection of AI + Web3. Self-taught dev who never stopped shipping, turning ideas into production-ready products across markets. If you're a Miami company working on something ambitious and need someone who ships. let's talk.

Something happened to me today that I cannot stop thinking about. I asked the free versions of AI the same question three different ways. Three different wrong answers. All confidently delivered. This is not a glitch. Watch this.
