Also I understand the tornado picture looks like scud on a mountain top. I unfortunately do not have video, but the motion would have said otherwise. I had my kids with me as we were already out; and therefore I saw it and kind of dipped out to get them home before continuing to the next storm. Sorry for the lack of video, but I believe someone looking from Parsippany got the same view in a different video of the same feature. There was tree debris in the air. Was from the southeast side of Dover a mile or so east of Victory Gardens.

Followed the second storm into Livingston as it became rain wrapped. Never saw another tornado. Lots of street flooding in the Caldwells. #njwx

@NWS_MountHolly lots of right to left inflow motion and rotation on tornado warned storm near Dover NJ. Cannot see the whole base yet. Tornado appears imminent.

@skydrama Yea this isn’t something I can put any recent memory analogs to. I just recall a lot of southeast events with shear like this that end up being a huge QLCS, albeit with a few supercells initially and maybe ahead. QLCS still capable of significant tornadoes.

@mattmwx I’m having a hard time suggesting anything “should” happen with such an anomalous forecast. I’m along for the ride in a lot of ways.

Have to disagree. Excellence is subjective. Zero metering isn’t always excellence, in fact I’d argue finding the storm everyone else ignores is excellence. Beat the crowd. Having a 7 figure following isn’t reasonable nor is it desired by everyone. I could use without getting doxxed every day of my life. If your definition of excellence in body standards is anything but what you are then you’re setting yourself up for failure off the bat and this makes it sound much worse. 6 figure incomes aren’t standard. When I met my wife I was making $11/hr and working my ass off 100+ hours a week to make it work for us and what became our family. Due to hard work, some luck, and lots of reliance on each other we achieved that 6 figure income together. Excellence is subjective. If you take the same path everyone else does, then yea it takes a lot to stand out. Carve your own path and you make your own excellence in your own way. Here’s an analogy we can go back to. You don’t need to zero meter if you’re the only one on it.
