@AerLingus So emerald airlines are paying the €250 compensation as per EU261 but now tell me I must get back to you guys @AerLingus for reimbursement of my flight cost even though it was you who pushed me onto them?? What a circus

@AerLingus hi, my flight was cancelled on sept 10th. Case ref 9062263. I haven’t even been reimbursed for that flight let alone compensation #eu261 My travelling companion has received his ages ago. Please explain??

@james__love @AllisonMorris1 @easyJet @ConsumerCouncil Raised it with them Friday, resolved today. After 5 months of silence from Emerald Airlines the consumer council immediately resolved the issue. How long did it take from you submitting bank details to actually receiving payment?

@matty456 @AllisonMorris1 @easyJet @ConsumerCouncil Just noseying at your feed too, it was also Emerald fwiw. I had zero luck with them until the Consumer Council NI helped. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Update, @easyJet having first said I wasn’t entitled to a refund both in their live chat, on the phone and via email have now decided that I am and the money will be in my account in seven days, a success of sorts

@AllisonMorris1 @easyJet Make sure you also get your EU261 compensation as well on top of your refund. @ConsumerCouncil very helpful if easyJet don’t play ball. They helped me with Aer Lingus in the past.

still awaiting a response from Emerald Airlines, claim for delay in October and various email since then with no response regarding EU261 law for delays. So frustrating 😡😡😡
