There’s $1T up for grabs for agent-first startups and this window is WIDE open. Probably 10,000+ niches. How it plays out: 1. Every SaaS company follows salesforce and goes headless within 18 months 2. a new category of "agent-native" startups emerges that treat salesforce, HubSpot, workday etc as dumb backends. the startup IS the agent. the SaaS is just the database. 3. the entire consulting/services industry around enterprise SaaS gets compressed into software. the agent replaces the implementation team. 4. outcome-based pricing becomes default. nobody pays per seat when the "seat" is an agent making 10,000 API calls a minute. you pay when revenue hits your account. 5. the winning founders are ex-operators who understand a vertical workflow cold. the code is the easy part. knowing that a property manager spends 14 hours a week on lease renewals? that's the insight worth $100M. 6. distribution becomes the moat. when anyone can wire agents to APIs, the company with the audience and the brand wins. media + agents is the new SaaS. There’s a rush to incubate live/short form shows. 7. Silicon Valley goes all influencer. Roy lee gets this. Pat Walls gets this. Sam Parr gets this. 8. the first $1B agent-native company in each vertical will look nothing like the SaaS it replaced. smaller team, higher margins, no implementation cost, no churn from bad UX because there is no UX. the fastest path to wealth right now: find an industry that still runs on dashboards, phone calls, and spreadsheets. build the agent-native version. charge per outcome. own the workflow end-to-end. someone reading this right now is going to build a $100M company off this exact shift. tell me about it on the @startupideaspod when you do. Im rooting for you. Less reading, less bookmarking, more building. the last wave rewarded people who built pretty interfaces on top of ugly data. I think this wave rewards people who build smart agents on top of exposed APIs. Or who just build the APIs themselves Here we go

Ideas are cheap. Canon is expensive. Keep an IDEAS/ folder where anything can live as a seed. Promote to canon only after it earns it — repeated mentions, real evidence, a decision made. The work isn't generating. The work is refusing to canonize noise.

The highest-leverage file in my vault is 800 lines of markdown called AGENTS.md. It defines page types, source hierarchy, naming conventions, and what the agent must never do. Every model I touch reads it first. Constitutions beat prompts.

Stop asking AI to "summarize." Start asking it to "find the contradiction." Give it two sources that disagree. Make it show its work. Preserve the conflict in a page instead of flattening it. Contradictions are where the real signal lives.

Write canon pages like Wikipedia. Write project pages like a standup. Write outputs like you'll reuse them. Different page types do different jobs. Mix them and everything becomes a mediocre journal entry. Structure is how knowledge stops rotting.

Your old emails are the most honest org chart you'll ever have. Ingest ten years of Gmail. Ask the LLM who you actually worked with, how often, on what. The answer won't match your LinkedIn or your memory. Timestamps don't flatter.

Links are infrastructure, not decoration. Every time you write a page, connect it to the people, places, projects, and themes it touches. An orphan page is dead weight. A connected page compounds. A knowledge base without a graph is a filing cabinet.

Most "second brains" are just nicer-looking chat logs. The upgrade is a source hierarchy: raw sources you never edit, source notes that extract meaning, canon pages that synthesize, outputs that ship. Four layers, one rule — never collapse them. That's the difference between a notebook and an intelligence system.

Your photo library is a lie detector. Every iPhone picture has GPS and a timestamp. Export the EXIF data to a CSV, feed it to your LLM, and ask it to reconcile your autobiography against where your body actually was. Memory mythologizes. Coordinates don't.

Your bookshelf is latent identity data. Take a picture of the spines in your library, ingest it into your LLM knowledge base, and ask AI to turn it into a markdown file of your personal philosophy and worldview. Then use that file to write agent rules. That’s how you get outputs that feel like you, not everyone else.

The Mars_Embassy is apparently a social/art project not affiliated with SpaceX. They own a half-acre site (Parcel #171767, 0.500-acre tract out of Share 3) on Boca Chica Boulevard (Hwy 4) near the new Ad Astra School. They installed the sign on April 7th and was produced by "The Most Famous Artist (Matty Mo)" and Ascend Projects, LLC (landowner). The website, MarsEmbassy.org, includes a manifesto and citizenship application for Mars.

SPACEX: Another project coming to Starbase! The building in the background is the new Ad Astra school. Any thoughts on what the Mars_Embassy will be? @elonmusk?

Sometime in the next 2-3 years agents will be using the internet more than humans We designed the whole thing for human eyes, human emotions, human attention spans Agents do not have any of that The internet as we know it was built for the wrong user The opportunity is rebuilding everything for the new user Agent-native search. Agent-native commerce. Agent-native discovery Every category is open again I can't stop thinking about it.
