If you're using vitest to test code that runs outside of the vite runtime, ala in regular Node.js, you've just created a test / prod difference that will result in bugs down the line. This was the major flaw with using jest on Node.js code and people are just repeating it again.

@birch_js @Baconbrix I completely misunderstood the thread and the tweet, I am just looking to use Svelte to build an iOS and maybe Android app, and svelte-native.technology does the work... your PR was to allow nativescript integration with react-native. Will be investing some time in it. Thank you

🌶️ EVERY native feature of a given platform should be globally available in React Native via JavaScript without additional libraries.
Imagine if React DOM required installing/importing libraries to access Navigator.geolocation.
It’s fine if you want a wrapper library to add a cross-platform API, but it should be possible to get the device name without installing and rebuilding the app.

Surprisingly getting fewer applicants for these roles than we did when we were hiring at less than half the salary back in 2020 before we had the budget we have now.
