Navigate on autopilot now is Self-Driving navigation?

That’s why it takes so long 😉 The EU wants autonomous cars but with at least as many documents explaining everything as testing kilometers

@FinTesla I think that’s just a bug fix release. My hopes were on 2026.4.5, that would have made sense to keep FSD HW4 cars on the .2 branch, but that was for South Korea (unfortunately 😅)

Some messages still call Autosteer Self-Driving, hopefully that will be changed in 2026.2.9.2

I just noticed that since I installed 2026.2.9 on March 2nd, @TessieApp has been recording Self-Driving Stats for my trips. 🤔

There is no food in the fridge. The garage where I slept is on the right. The shower only has one towel so I left it for Elon. That was okay with me. When I was a child, I’d spend three weeks in the Kalahari Desert without showering. Many times. There was no water. I think my parents prepared me for this luxury.🤣

@maxbrco @Rustavi Yeah, this could be just a toggle used to deliver FSD build early to AI4+FSD cars. Nothing more. Unless there's some AI4+FSD+2026.9(.1) without the early access text.,

🚨 Just asked my Tesla Assist in the Tesla app: 'Do I have early access?' Answer: YES. My vehicle is enrolled in the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Early Access Program 🎉 Means I apparently get experimental FSD builds before most people. Tesla stays super mysterious about the actual criteria for getting picked. No clear way to apply, no public list, just magic invite? Anyone else seeing this in their Tesla app right now? I tested it on 2 HW4 FSD cars in my account, both are included. Another HW3 car with FSD (not mine) is not included. It seems as if the AI is reading this from the configuration data of the car, so it is nothing that is directly linked to the account. But I would be interested if this is the same as we know it from Texas, who have the Early Access button in the app or if it just includes every HW4 FSD vehicle…

@FinTesla Okay but if you are already on .9 I don’t think you will stay on that very long. My guess is that you will be included in the next wave maybe early next week

It seems like Self-Driving just replaced the word Autopilot in 2026.6.9, even in the European version. I tried giving Autosteer a hard time today and found this message which now also says „Self-Driving“ instead of „Autosteer“
