@Nicnl I find the timing still interesting. Why they announced this change a day after 5.5. and not the same time as with NL?

@FinTesla Yep, Tesla is doing a disservice to themselves. Some people are gonna subscribe to FSD, go in the city and enable autopilot without knowing it's not FSD, and concludes that """FSD""" is worthless.

The change to subscription makes it awkward situation until FSD is actually approved. I've already seen many questions on different forums asking if this is the real deal for approved FSD. This might get backslash at Tesla in terms of complaints and bad customer experience. However, the motivation to do this likely 1) to cut off purchases (especially on HW3) 2) to get subscription count increasing (comp. targets) But in addition the change has clearly increased the customer awareness in Europe towards FSD with the subscription option. Now it's much more accessible and also visible (literally in the app and car) for many who do not follow this so much. As a side effect this might also increase the pressure towards regulators when more people start asking the questions why FSD is not approved. Let's see how this turns out 🙂

@EdwinKravcenka @teslaeurope I did also some investigation and it seems that cars with 2026.8.6 are still waiting for the FSD

@FinTesla @teslaeurope Might be mistaken on the 2026.14 But i havent seen any that would work on 2026.8, so at least thats that 🤷‍♀️

@to1theglory I don’t think I’ve had any phantom breaks with Juniper. I did have them with the old Y earlier. I am so much looking forward to have FSD.

@FinTesla Autopilot is shit. Every other car does it better then tesla. Autopilot has phantom braking and disables both autosteer and cruise control when switching lanes. Horrible experience on Juniper. But no, that doesnt mean im gonna pay 99 euro per month.

FSD one-time purchase is now gone in Europe. Only subscription remains... Why make the change now? Note. Autopilot remains for now.

One-time FSD purchases have now ended across Europe. FSD is now only available as a monthly subscription. It's £99/month in the UK and 99€/month in most other European countries.

So Autopilot is now gone from the Danish Tesla website and across all of Europe. Autopilot is now only included by buying FSD subscription at 750 DKK/month (99$/month).
