@pprisex @ivanblackthornn I love this book so much, the whole sci-fi adventure and the depth of each dialogue.... Like it way too good use of a mini. Amazing amazing work. Feels like I'm the only cyke fan who likes to bring this book up occasionally... that needs to change

But Spider-Man had his kid retconed, Batman and Superman had theirs already grown and Scott/Jean have 2 from alternate futures and 1 raised in one

@moxie329 @pprisex @ivanblackthornn I am mixed feelings. Love the adventures, but kind of disappointed it took place in a different timeline instead of raising cable in 616. Another throwback book I dont see brought. up often is the wedding of Scott and Jean.

@CBenson2015 @my_that79452 The triangle had ended before the 2000. There isn't much between the movie and NXM. Cyclops comes back in march and in June NXM starts, you just have Eve of destruction and it's action focused

@my_that79452 The problem is that for every comic in the 90s that was like this, you had a dozen that acted like their relationship was stale and that Jean would rather be with Logan which became the prevailing belief, especially after the X-Men movies.

Comics like this are why I can never respect how New X-Men portrayed their relationship. It's such a slap on the face to the decades of history they shared together and what they actually mean to each other. You would think Scott and Jean's relationship was loveless in NXM

@my_that79452 @moxie329 Iirc, that is kinda what happened, Morrison had no idea this comic even existed. I remember reading in an interview that Grant didn't read much, and he just had the DPS and datapoints as the background before doing NXM. So they just ignored 2 decades of development
