@HDRgameAnalysis Like I said, the modding forces the brightness up, but it isn't the same as one panel that is designed for that brightness. The colors start looking incorrect, like neón.

Provide me with some facts instead of reading a marketing brochure. What are the measured differences for color accuracy, brightness and processing, and is it the differences even noticable ? Why is processing important for a gaming TV ? Games output the highest quality output signal. Its not a low compressed 720p Youtube video.

@HDRgameAnalysis They're both great TV's but F panel is different, it's improved. When you mod your TV you push the limits which is not the same as one that has that natively. They could get equally bright but the modded one would be imprecise cus it's just pushing the brightness.

@maxlevine66 You are eating up all the marketing. There is only a slight difference in real world content between the s95f and my modded s90c. The s95f might have a bit less aggressive ABL, but I can't verify how much. Unless you mod the s95f to 4000 nits😊

I actually don't think there is a huge risk by only modding to 2000 nits. Thats what they advertised the panel capable of when it was launched several years ago. No s95f has 2000 nits on basically the same panel. G series does not get stupidly bright compared to the highest end QD-OLED TVs its roughly the same.

@HDRgameAnalysis Yes, it's true but you're risking your panel by modding it for brightness that it wasn't designed for. That's why I said the G series, cus they get stupidly bright.

@maxlevine66 I have no idea what my TV actually outputs in that exact image. I still have to setup max luminance to 2000 nits in the game, and thats what the diagram on the right shows.
