@pugley3 @Pontifex It’s 7,000, not 40,000, and the white, Christian genocide in South Africa is a myth, no…a LIE! Syrians have attacked far fewer Christians than the IDF have. You posted a bunch of misinformation. Sorry, but these are FACTS!

Your a foolish man, no wait I mean a stupid man. What about Nigeria? What about the 40,000 killed in Iran in January 2026? How about those that are being hung daily in Iran? What about the slaughter of Christians in South Africa? What about the slaughter of Christians in Syria. Get your nose out of Islam's butt and WTFU.

What kind of world are we leaving behind? Unfortunately, it is a world distorted by war and war-like language. This pollution of reason comes from the geopolitical sphere and invades every social relationship. Any simplification that creates enemies must be corrected, especially in universities, through complexity of thought and wise exercise of memory.

Trump could become the first US president to go to prison. Raise your hand if you agree he deserves it.

Today we celebrate World Press Freedom Day, sponsored by UNESCO. Unfortunately, this right is often violated, sometimes flagrantly, sometimes in hidden ways. Let us remember the many journalists and reporters who are victims of war and violence.

POPE LEO CONDEMNS ISRAEL: “I carry the image of a Muslim child killed in Lebanon, who, during my visit to Lebanon, was standing there holding a sign that said "Welcome, Pope Leo," and in this latest phase of the war, he was killed. I cannot be in favor of war.” 🇻🇦🇮🇱

Unlike the current administration here in the U.S., she is keenly aware that it is her duty to be of service to Europeans, and she clearly does that by only making decisions that are in their best interests. Seems straightforward 🤷‍♀️ Instead of grifting at their expense for personal gain 🤬🤬🤬

China wants a trade deal with the EU. Finland just made that impossible — unless China drops Russia. ㅤ Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen was direct: China's ties with Moscow are a deal-breaker for any EU-China free trade agreement. No negotiations can begin without all 27 EU member states on board. Finland is one of them. ㅤ Beijing has been pitching trade and investment deals to European leaders for months. Last month Germany's chancellor called such an agreement potentially achievable. Valtonen just cooled that down significantly. ㅤ China now has to choose: one of the world's largest markets, or continued partnership with a sanctioned, isolated aggressor. ㅤ That's a real economic squeeze — and it came from Helsinki, not Washington. ㅤ

No one is excluded from God’s love! With our unique pasts, mistakes, and sufferings, each one of us remains precious in the Lord’s eyes. Jesus revealed this to us in His every encounter, gesture, and word. He loved us to the very end, showing us that he believed in the power of love to change even the hardest of hearts. #ApostolicJourney #EquatorialGuinea

Rep. Mike Levin
Rep. Mike Levin@RepMikeLevin·
Today I offered an amendment in the Appropriations Committee to stop the Trump Administration from canceling federal grants based on how a state voted in the 2024 election. A federal judge has already ruled that this is exactly what the Administration is doing. Not canceling grants based on need. Not based on merit. Based on the electoral map. The court found it violates the Fifth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause. My amendment was one sentence. It blocked federal funds from being used to cancel or pause grants based on the political leanings of a state. Every single Republican on the committee voted no. Let that sink in. Every Republican in the room looked at a federal court ruling that the Administration is violating the Constitution, and voted to let it keep happening. They chose loyalty to a president over loyalty to their oath. They chose party over the Constitution they swore to defend. That means they’re fine as the Administration keeps pulling grants from states that didn’t vote for Trump. Research funding, public safety dollars, infrastructure money, disaster aid. All of it stays on the table. All of it can be yanked based on nothing more than how a state voted. The Constitution gives the power of the purse to Congress, not to the White House. Today, every Republican in that room handed it over anyway, as they have been doing for the last year.
