Beautiful OTambo..last time I was here was about 10 years ago. I left south Africa completely frustrated. I had received an SMS alert informing me that my study permit was ready for collection. When I arrived at the Home Affairs office in Johannesburg, I was told that someone else had already collected the sticker. To this day, I still have no answers as to how that happened. The only person I had informed about the collection was my visa agent. I'm convinced the permit was traded or sold to another person for money. Thank God for the progress that has been made since then.

As my country nigeria is benefiting from the increased revenue generated by higher oil prices, I personally believe the government should atleast utilize a portion of these extra earnings to subsidize petrol prices.
