The denial of visa to The Chairman of BUA Abdul Samad Rabiu by the South African Government is an affront to Nigeria. They cannot have billions of dollars investment in our country and treat such a revered figure with rejection and contempt.Xenophobia is escalating from the streets to Governance. Its time to keep aside history and African brotherhood and deal with this matter squarely.

Just as Aliko Dangote once said he sold off his foreign mansions as a way of staying focused on building his business, Femi Otedola recently added another 10-bedroom mansion in London to his collection of properties. Two successful business tycoons with completely different financial decisions. Both approaches are worth studying.@MasterBolaji

Beautiful OTambo..last time I was here was about 10 years ago. I left south Africa completely frustrated. I had received an SMS alert informing me that my study permit was ready for collection. When I arrived at the Home Affairs office in Johannesburg, I was told that someone else had already collected the sticker. To this day, I still have no answers as to how that happened. The only person I had informed about the collection was my visa agent. I'm convinced the permit was traded or sold to another person for money. Thank God for the progress that has been made since then.

@afrisagacity We can all see that this issue is no longer about migrants who do not possess valid permits, but about deep hatred toward fellow Black people, whether they have valid permits or not. The government is also failing to come forward and put an end to this madness.eishhhh

South African xenophobic attackers harassing a Nigerian man who possessed a valid passport. Good that the man stood up to them. However, I thought the fight was against illegal migrants?✍️

It is high time the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria called all governors to account for the huge sums of money they have received. If the Obi/Kwankwaso alliance becomes a reality, I am not sure the ruling party will be able to withstand the massive political wave that is coming.

@NigeriaStories What people often say is that a good turn deserves another. You performed poorly as a minister, yet you claim that God sees your heart for the good people of Oyo State. A first-class graduate with the mindset of a pass student. Rubbish

When jobs are scarce, housing is limited, or public services are under severe pressure, migrants in South Africa are often unfairly blamed. This has happened many times, and I do not see it ending until our leaders introduce policies that unite Africans instead of turning us against one another.@_AfricanUnion @AfricaFactsZone

@eddie_wrt These idiots can’t look Indians or Pakistanis in the eye and tell them she doesn’t want them in her country, yet they find it so easy to say this rubbish to their fellow African brothers. Ungrateful people.

“We don’t want Africans here anymore. We’re tired of seeing African migrants moving all over the world, refusing to fix their own countries. We’re making it clear: we don’t want you here. The peace of mind I’ve experienced in this country in just five days is greater than what I had in an entire year back home. Even being able to travel at night from one province to another without the fear of kidnapping means so much. May God Almighty please restore peace to our beloved nation.

@SenBalaMohammed Sincerely speaking, should we really blame the prodigal son who keeps wasting money anyhow?I think the real blame lies with the father who keeps handing over money without any oversight or ensuring it is put to good use.

I have distributed official vehicles to emirs and district heads across Bauchi State as part of my administration’s deliberate effort to strengthen grassroots governance and deepen community engagement. While presenting these vehicles at the Government House to fourteen newly appointed emirs and over a hundred district heads, I made it clear that this initiative is aimed at enhancing their mobility, expanding their reach, and enabling them to carry out their responsibilities more effectively within their respective domains. I remain committed to extending this support across both long-established and newly created emirates, chiefdoms, and districts, ensuring that governance in Bauchi State remains inclusive and aligned with our broader development agenda. I also emphasized the critical importance of close collaboration with our traditional institutions in promoting peace, stability, and prosperity. I urged our traditional rulers to remain non-partisan, uphold the highest standards of integrity, and stay dedicated to their duties. The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Isa Babayo Tilde, reaffirmed our ministry’s strong commitment to working hand-in-hand with traditional institutions, recognizing their vital role in maintaining peace and mobilizing our communities. In response, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, expressed deep appreciation and assured that the vehicles would be used responsibly and for the benefit of the people. This distribution included fourteen GMC saloon cars, Toyota buses, Hilux vehicles, and over a hundred Toyota Camry cars allocated to district heads. #GreaterBauchi

Since the outbreak of the US-Iran war, oil prices have increase significantly. As my country nigeria is benefiting from the increased revenue generated by higher oil prices, I personally believe the government should atleast utilize a portion of these extra earnings to subsidize petrol prices. The impact of the recent petrol price hikes on citizens has been severe. People are hungry and angry.@dolawanle
