Meet the clone of the original EverDrive N8. Sometimes Chinese engineering gets pretty interesting: they added a second MAX II to bypass protection checks. It was also unexpected to see a different FPGA — I think it’s a clone of a Cyclone IV 1/2

Modern AAA need 120GB updates, and still feel empty. A damaged sticker, 1995 cartridge on a CRT? Pure magic, infinite replayability, and that rush when you finally clear an extremely difficult part of the game. Retro didn’t chase trends. It created legends. What’s the one old school game you’d fire up right now over anything releasing in 2026?

Cleaned up my desk and added this little RCA 14” flat CRT into the setup. Component really looks amazing in this puppy. I’m very happy rn.

@BlueShell3D Very nice and clean setup. You got the mats down so at anytime you can do some making. Like the squarish LCD too. Overall I would rate it a 8/10. Good job. Seriously though, I can’t stand a messy work/gaming area. I want to be able to easily find stuff like tools or parts.
