Dayton, Ohio is now ABOVE NORMAL for rainfall for the month so far. After starting the month with 3 WEEKS of no measurable precipitation, rainfall for the month is now 3.79 inches, 0.79 inches above normal.

Yes, some areas with the worst drought received decent rain today, but it won't be near enough given the rainfall deficits and the future forecast.

People who have to pick up kids and have meetings schedule for (normal, 5-6pm) pickup time: - what are you supposed to do??

We analyzed 19 years of flowering data from the Fushan @ForestGEO plot for 16 species. Our analysis revealed that the flowering times of 13 species were affected by temperature changes. Changing temperatures may impact flowering times, reshaping subtropical ecosystems.

@skunkcabbages We are interested in collecting acorns from ancient oaks, intentionally, to create a seedling pool for restoration. Landscape Matriarchs - ish. And, that has us thinking about all kinds of other things about those trees.
