I’ve watched this interview 10 times today. So grateful to hear these words from interim head coach Terry Smith of Penn State. Powerful!! And a great reminder for all of us that just want to focus on the CFP-and nothing else “matters”. This was a SPECIAL day for this coach and his players-not just winning the Pinstripe Bowl-but having another chance to compete TOGETHER. His gratitude for his players-his school-and to the SPORT were heard loud and clearly. This interview hit me hard watching it live-even a bigger fan of his now! Thanks for sharing your thoughts coach-many of us needed to hear them!

Watched @ClemsonFB vs @PennStateFball Bowl game won by the Nittany Lions . I was blown away in the post game interview with TERRY SMITH interim coach of Penn State. Terry impressed me with his passion. They won their last 4 games & you could feel his love for the players.Loves Penn St & new head coach Matt Campbell has retained him. A SMART MOVE!

Katie Schumacher-Cawley was an All-American at Penn State, then became head coach in 2022. This fall, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. While battling cancer, she led her Nittany Lions to a championship—the first woman coach EVER to win an NCAA DI volleyball title.

There is a reason Mike Tomlin only has 3 playoff wins in the past 14 years and none since 2016. When he won a Super Bowl and got to another he had mostly Cowher' players and coaching staff. Then Tomlin thought he was a genius and took everything over. Result? Mediocrity forever.
